I saw 20 blacks in a row one night at a casino in the UK...luckily from the bar rather than the table. We noticed it when there was a run of about 9 or 10 in a row and carried on watching, and counting as the run continued, and since it wasn't a huge casino it wasnt long before the table was crowded with people all trying to get involved and bet the red that "was sure to come up on the next spin"

Sure enough as more and more blacks landed, more and more people were losing and dashing off to the ATM determined to get their money back - we saw one guy get more cash twice but he wasn't quick enough and the red came up as he was running back to the table...he didnt stick around much after that, was sorta stood there with a pained expression on his face and then tuned and stormed straight out the door.

They don't need to cheat odds are heavily in their favour to start with.

Also, 6 in a row is not uncommon... on average you will have a 6-streak one way or the other, once during any ~60 spins. 13 is more surprising... that's like once during 8000.

If there are 38 numbers on an American roulette wheel, would it still be called "gambling" if the house paid 39-1 instead of 36-1?

If not, is it only when odds paid back are less then actual (true) odds that define the word "gambling"?

Honestly, in AC i have seen streaks of 5-6 in a row all the time. There are times i have seen like 10-15 in a row. But 6 in a row i would not call totally impossible.

Did you ever see that show i think it is called Breaking Vegas? It is how some guys have scammed casinos by Cheating. There was one about roulette. I would not call it cheating but they figured out how to get an edge. Some casinos had older tables so these guys came in and logged in 1000s of rolls. Turns out certain numbers came up way more then others. The theory was the older tables were worn and slightly tilted in a way that the ball would end up in certain slots more then others because of wear and tear of the tables. They won a crapload of money (Millions) then they figured out how they were winning and got all new tables .

A skilled dealer can peg a specific section on the wheel with a little practice. Regardless, hitting the same number 4 times in a row is pretty rediculous.

A Vegas casino will never take the chance on losing their license. People are dumb when they gamble. Chase losses, gamble drunk, expect a slot machine to get hot, that a machine is due. I lived there for years.

People refuse to leave when they are ahead. The best example is blackjack. Anyone can learn basic strategy in five minutes of even put a laminate card that has all proper plays. I would be shocked if half of the people who play it even know what basic strategy is. If you think the casino's are rigged you probably think we never landed on moon or countless urban legends people take as gospel.

I have seen the same color come up 10 times in a row. Well To be honest i didn't see it but i have been in the casino when the last 10 numbers they show was same color....it could have been more than 10 in a row, but only last 10 shows.

The tables are not rigged. But every casino game is rigged in the sense of odds. House always has the edge. And most bettors will fail even if the hit it big every now and then because most of them always give back everything plus more.

Yea I don’t think I’ve ever seen same number more than twice and I play a lot of roulette!! Far as color 6x in a row is nothing, if you sit at a table for a hour or so you generally see that happen at least once.

I see colors come up 6+ times all the time when people are betting 5 dollars a spin. The previous spin has no bearing on the next spin. American roulette has over a 5% house edge, why would they have to rig it and risk getting fined and their gambling license banned.
