    Milwaukee Brewers -120 against the fish

    nolascos lifetime batting average allowed against the current brewers roster is .382. gallardo against the marlins players is only .192. just because of that stat i gotta go brew crew

    Yes Gallardo hasn't been pitching that great but that is exactly why the Brewers are -120. If he were having a pretty good year then you prolly see this line at -150 or higher. I'll take the chance on him righting his ship for now against a poor hitting team...plus, the bats have been doing better the last few games.

    This is defiantly the play of the day. I love it. Gallardo is 3-0 in 5 career starts with a 1.59 ERA in 34 innings against the fish. A trip to Miami might just be what he needs to get back to winning pitching.
    Nolasco has not won since May 19 and is 2-2 against the brew crew in 7 career starts.
    Brewers have won 3 straight, longest streak since 9 back in April...
    So we have 2 slumping pitchers facing off. The over is looking pretty safe. What do you guys think?

    Jake, I think this is why they aren't favored more.... The Brewers are 1-6 in Gallardo's last 7 starts, with an ERA of 8.04 over his last 3 starts. The Marlins have won their last 3 at home and are 7-3 in their last 10 home games versus a team with a losing record. Nolasco comes in today in with an ERA of 2.57 over his last 3 starts.

    The Marlins now have Stanton back, Logan Morrison is back, Marcel Ozuna is going to be a stud kid can hit add in vets like Polanco and Juan Pierre -- they aren't as bad as their record says they are

    I think the line is a farce. The Marlins are getting pounded today after sweeping the 2nd worst team in MLB- The Mets (And yes, the Mets are worse than the Astros).
    Value is on Gallardo in the matchup here bigtime. He can easily shut that team out.
    Brewers offense isn't shut out very often even though they are an under .500 team. They may only need a couple runs to win this game.
