Federer was not human for years. He isn't unbeatable like he once was but I think saying he needs to retire is a bit extreme. If he enjoys playing still I think he should. He is clearly one of the best 5 players in the world still. No reason he can't make more runs in grand slams. Stakhovsky is a great grass court player. Bad loss for federer because he is federer but these guys now a days are freaks and have made us forget they are human. Literally nadal, djoker, murray and fed almost can be penciled into semis which just never has been the case in tennis history before these guys.

Centaur should maybe leave talking tennis to people that know a thing or two about the game.

    Federer played well

Many do not know the game like me

Nadal was the issue, Fed beats 95% of players last night

Lmao you bumped a thread of yours where you said Fed should retire. And you do it after he loses in 5 sets in a final to the best player in the world.

    You sir are a chump.

Well you quoted something from over a year ago thinking it was about today's match so what does that make you?

That was probably the best I've seen Federer play in the past 3 years.

    you mean 2 years.

did you see wimbledon 2012 when Fed took out Joker and Murray?

he played just as well then, maybe better, as those two opponents were > anyone he beat in Wimby 2014

The grass is playing much faster the past 3 years just like the old days which helped two big servers beat nadal in 2 of the past 3 years and helped roger for sure

Federer will retire after his next slam title, I believe that's his intention. If he had won Wimbledon this year, he would have retired already. He says he has 2 years in the tank, but I believe next year will be Federer's last. So Federer haters should get the fireworks ready, retirement is near (emeklilik yakın meşaleleri yakın)

No matter how much physical decline he's suffering, Federer is Michelangelo of tennis, it's going to be a sad sad day when he quits.
