Be grateful they still give you $25 limits. Got limited to $4 after 1st wager before subsequently having my action refused.

Used them 5 years for live-betting. After my very first bet (250 Euro or so) i´m limited to 5 Euro or something.

I made a new account with Fred and bet to win £1000 on the super rugby tomorrow as first bet. Went to bet something similar a few minutes later and could only win £100 lol.

Hope they don't do a ladbrokes on us. These days you can't deposit more than £100 at laddies without getting your limits cut immediately. And good luck trying to withdraw anything without having to provide both a blood and sperm sample.

sure, betfred has the occasional , stale line in O/U basketball which i target, but i didnt arb back, i only bet one side per game,
use another book , to hedge off some if necessary,

but still limited,

im in canada so, i agree, they are mickey mouse book lately, 3 bets is no way to measure if im a winning or losing player
they are quick to pull the gun, is what im saying

and same with ladbrokes,
i have many (first hand) accounts on this 2013, ladbrokes has been bad, (iequick to limit)

I would bet that the 3 live wagers you made for $500 a pop all had lines that were a point or 2 off the market and guess what, YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY ONE LOOKING FOR VALUE OUT THERE!!! You open up a new account and place max limit wagers on lines where they got hit all on the same side and you're wondering why you were limited? I realize you're just trying to make money but BetFred is NOT the place to hit soft numbers as they will boot you each and every time. Since the whole object of gambling is finding the best number, it makes BetFred a USELESS book for the serious gambler. There are a few books out there who won't limit you but they also don't offer soft lines either. Things have gotten worse and worse over the last several years with online sports betting.

Betfreds target market is the 50+ unshaved, sex offender, single all their lives and wanting to piss away every last bean on the dogs types. Show you have even the slightest clue and baldy will boot you. Whether they'll do the same in shop, I'm not sure, wouldn't dare go in there. I imagine if you try and place a bet using notes instead of coins, and aren't reeking of Tennants super, they'll instantly get suspicious and call for the manager, who will politely will you towards the nearest Ladbrokes, who at least expect their customers to have had a wash that week.

Most of them are free bets, no rollovers etc. Average bet in UK is around £12 (recreational,)- so yeah give them a free bet of £20 (some give £50) then sure thats a good marketing technique.
They join up because of the free bet and theres a good chance of them becoming addicted and losing a hell of a lot more than that.

You sound like you bet a lot of money - but you still have to realise most people in UK - dont, they may bet regularly but per bet not so much money is involved in many cases.......

Then if you exchange that into the poorer European countries, £20-£50 becomes even more appealing......

If you keep hammering the soft lines, there is no way the books will eventually get their money back. They will slowly lose bit by bit long term........
