I dont think you can "fix" a baseball game, but this might have been the closest thing to it....Seattle won this game three times....and still came away with a L and my bookie took my 220 brutal....

C'mon dude. Indians are the hottest team in baseball. Why anyone would go against the hottest team at -odds is beyond me.

was on mariners like a dumbfuk, but i have to agree. that was retarded. same old mariners.

and the indians are special. no automatic outs in that lineup, that's for sure.

mariners on the other hand have kelly shoppach, brendan ryan. bunch of losers. and man those relievers cannot field, i guess they don't practice fielding very much.

Mariners traveling cross country, playing at 9am there time. Hottest team in baseball at + money at home? Kazmir has looked decent at home recently. Sure was a stressor but I was loving me some Windians today

That was two seasons ago and that team never hit anywhere close to this well. That was obviously smoke and mirrors. This seems more substantial, though I'd agree with your larger point (don't overreact to the first quarter of the season).

Deemer. You know I am a Tiger but I will certainly give you that your team has me nervous. That offense is one of the best right now and they have no holes. Last year they were a great fade against lefties and the adjustment was not quick by the books. This year they make big hits from both sides of the plate.

They are as good as their starting pitching will let them be. Kazmir is a big wildcard.

Raburn is an ace in the hole. They will kill lefthanders this year. Thank fukkin Christ we won't start one for a while.

This is a good ballteam folks. Still under the radar and a good bet.

Don't even thin you can fukkin beat us Deemer. But you are good.

No doubt. The clubhouse culture has changed, and Francona is reason #1 (Swisher, Giambi, Reynolds, Bourn and others deserve credit too, but i don't know how many of those guys would be here but for Francona).

This year's Tribe team is not a great team. But they are hands down the most fun sports team that we've had in Cleveland since the non-quitting LeBron years. Is that pathetic? Absolutely. But is sure is fun to walk into some place at lunch and see people clamoring to see the Tribe game on a Monday. That is not common, at least for the past decade and a half. No way to judge a team in May, but it's great to see.

No, that was 2011. Last year, the Tribe started poorly and finished the worst team in baseball.

Gas-cans galore in the bullpen, barely any above average talent in the lineup from top to bottom, Below Average starting pitching.
Team starts out decent then they quit.
Never saw a team quit so hard on a manager like they did in 2011. Well maybe once- the way the RedSox did with Francona that same year. Who's the new Indians manager anyways? Oh.

Swisher is a great clubhouse guy, but just another overrated 240 hitter who was lucky enough to hit in the shoebox at yankee stadium for a few years to make himself some money.
Bourn isn't even overrated, there was a reason he rotted on the free agent market all that time and no one wanted him. Everyone already knows when his legs are done he doesn't have the bat to keep a career going. Was happy as fk Cleveland took him from the Mets at the last second. Enjoy him for the next 4 years.

    Team is garbage Deemer.

Bad timing to get excited sweeping a 4 game home series vs. the dismal Mariners.

Total wins for the year- 78 to 79 only because of their weak division.

Sorry but only reason they won this game was from a Seattle error in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs; should have been game over.

You can say that about lots of games in lots of situations. All that matters is the end result.

Cleveland has had the talent base for the past two years, just have not put together two halves of a season yet. They have been in first place twice with the prior manager, who did nothing wrong during his tenure, but the bullpen/starting pitching came back down to Earth in the latter part of both seasons. I think their starting rotation is not a fluke outside of Kazmir, its the bullpen and guys like Perez who a pulling Houdini acts.

Indians are a lock for the championship this year. The team can flat out hit from top to bottom and the top of the rotation will do just enough to get the job done. Book it

Indians lineup is much better than years past, same SOLID bullpen. If Ubaldo can keep pitching well, I believe Masterson/Mcallister will keep it up.

This team can hit 1-9. Brantley one of the best young players in the game hitting .300 is hitting 7th or 8th for them... They're scary good right now.

Francona gets a lot of the credit

This organization was following the blueprint on being losers 12 months ago, and now they're a solid big league team that's won 18 of 22. They won't play in the World Series, but hopefully, they'll be in the playoffs. Whatever, i hope that i'm never jaded enough to look at a team on a run like this and say, "Pfft, they'll never re-sign Mark Reynolds."

Doing this with Kipnis/Cabrera not playing THAT well, they could win divison if they start hitting.

Detroit is a tad overrated, V-Mart looks like sh*t and I don't believe in Fister/Scherzer, despite recent success.
