will Russell Westbrook ever be criticized again?

He may become bulletproof after this thunder playoff run.

just ask durant what he thinks of westbrook.

and in the end, that's all it matters.

R Jackson is dumber than Westbrook

only reason I am watching these games when I know Memphis is gonna win the series is to see Durant play as the lone superstar, to see how that goes... and to watch that retard R Jackson play outta control

Westbrook has the killer instinct and will to win similar to what Kobe has. People take it the wrong way.

Also, Westbrook never runs out of energy and flies around at 110% all game. Guy is a freak of an athelete. It was interesting watching the game tonight and they were flashing back to two years ago when the Thunder played Memphis in the playoffs and won in overtime. Durant had like 35 and Westbrook had 40. You just kept seeing Westbrook highlights.

Guy gets to much hate for how good he is. I didn't even touch on his rebounding and defense either. That's where OKC really misses him.

Jackson needs to develope a floater or pull up mid range jumper ala Westbrook. It would be more effective than turning himself into a human bowling ball and getting charge after charge.

He should never have been criticized that much in the first place. Only idiots needed Westbrook to go out to actually see how big he is for the team. Anyone with half a brain knew all along this team wasn't anything special without Westbrook.

A one-man show just doesn't cut it in this league.

    Agreed 100%.

I miss all of those 40 point, 10 rebound performances by him...

Westbrook is a stud and with him okc would have won the west easily. He's the best pg in the nba.

westbrook's defense is underrated. i doubt conley puts up more than 15 ppg against westbrook.

If OKC would have paid Harden his extra money they would have another scorer besides Durant who practically doing EVERYTHING.

I can't stand Westbrook and I absolutely know that he will never ever be criticized again. He is absolutely the 2nd best player on the team and if they had him they would easily go to the finals once again (though they would lose to the Heat once again). Beverley should have been suspended for what he did to Westbrook.

Durant's stock has surely taken a hit...

Clearly not a top 5 player when tempo is slowed without support from Westbrook...

    That was tough to watch...

Yes! Durant can't do everything by himself. Talent wise their next best players is kevin martin lol and that not saying alot. This team would have no chance with Memphis if Westbrook was playing and Durant was injure. Think about it.

At least Durant is pushing mem to 2 ot and 1 win. This same team would kill clev when James was playing just saying.

he had a bad night shooting in the 2nd half when fatigue took over... 48min is hard on anyone...still avg. over 30 a game against the best defense in the nba... he is the best player in the league...even if he gets away with traveling every time he touches it and gets every call in the book, lbj still isnt as good as durant... IMO of course

I agree with you. What durant is doing in this series is just a glimpse of his future. We are seeing a 24 year old single handedly taking teams where they all want to be.

There will be a nobody trying to gain face time on espn that will insist that OKC is better off without Westbrook. There are 3 point guards I would want on my team no questions asked; Paul, Rondo or Westbrook. Rondo may be ideal for OKC because he gets the ball to the right spot for guys like Perk and Ibaka so they can get easy buckets. Durant would still get his but Rondo's ability to get to the rim and create along with his d could make the pg swap of rondo for Westbrook fair for both teams.

Thunder doesn't look even close to an elite team without Westbrook. He will be able to shoot without passing next year. Might be an mvp candidate too

He was criticized because David Stern wanted nothing to do with another Iverson type of athlete. That is why Stern ran Iverson out of the league. Could u imagine if Westbrook was pulling what Rose is pulling what would be said around the league? You got Magic telling Rose every day to stay out because he wants his man crush on Lebron to succeed because he knows very well if Rose was there Chicago would at least have a chance. Stern gives the marching orders and these analyst follow them like good little paid puppets. Steven Smith actually said once that he has been called to Sterns office a few times. Now what in gods name would a NBA analyst be called into a commissioner office for? This is how sickening that shitbag bag Commisioner has control over this sport. I love the Conly love also. The guy is the most average point guard in the league but now is somehow great because nobody is worth a shit guarding him.
