I think this is the biggest mismatch in the history of MLB

    Verlander (Tigers) against Humber (Astros)

I've been studying baseball since I was 8 years old, and I can not recall a bigger mismatch team wise and starting pitching wise in my life.

I have never before seen a team a 3 to 1 favorite on the road.
Hell you have to lay -105 on the -2 1/2 run line.

Having said all that watch Houston win 2-1 but betting Houston in this spot is flushing money down the toilet.
There's a reason why they are 3 to 1 dogs at home

normally id see what youre saying....but i mean common it is the astros...humber might pitch well but theres a better chance of verlander tossing a no no than for them to shell him

Houston could maybe benefit from Tigs having tired legs after all the laps they ran last night around the bases.

Tigers hit .320 off of him he's 0 and 6 on the year with an ungodly 1.82 WH/IP and a 7 and a half ERA, and he's going up against a sure fire Hall of Famer and Cy Younger.

    Mismatch of gigantic proportions.

I normally look for "traps" and such and I suppose anything can happen in baseball, but you're right. Humber should be in the minors right now and JV is JV.

Astros best player is sitting today too, but no locks in baseball. The under in the game or the team total of the Astros may be a better option.

I'd personally continue taking +4 million dogs 60% of the time everytime...regardless of the score in this one event. The battle is won but the war is only beginning.

Too bad JV's pitch count is too high since he has a no-no going through 5 innings.
