Sub in some bench warmers and injure lebron/wade. Give them a nice bounty bonus.
    League might become watchable again.
    Game is too soft.

And lets see, last year OKC had Harden and were much better and still lost in 5. This year, without Harden AND Miami is much better - so they couldn't care less. And I think they want a challenge because it helps them get better - and its not like they are in any danger of losing to any team - if they were than yea I'd agree with ur point.
They can be challenged on the golf course............they have a job/goal which is to win NBA Championships. The easiest road possible is the road in which they would take.

    We can agree to disagree.

We don't know the severity yet. There are several types of years. Some take Weeks, some take months.

Saying Artest came back from the "same" injury is ignorant until we know the severity.

Hopefully it is the same type of injury.

This is obviously bad but Westbrook is so up and down about how he plays in a team concept that this will at least give okc a little semblance of continuity in their offense. This could be KD's chance to become a superstar. Can't see them beating the heat but definitely can still come out of the west.

Durant is already a superstar. But yeah, he's gonna need to average 40+ now.

No such thing as "same injury". 12 days is pretty unrealistic. He hasn't even had the surgery yet. I thought I heard it will be a in a few days. So that's still over 2 weeks. He's out for the next round for sure IMO.

You know what I'm saying. I don't think he's considered near lebron level. This could be the moment for him to get there.

Maybe Lebron needs to win one without Wade and Bosh so he can become a Superstar.

I have Thunder series ML in a bunch of plays. Now I'm worried. This shit happened to me last year. Had the Bulls series ML against Philly and of course they lost after D Rose went down.

MUherd, the Thunder destroyHouston the last two games.

OKC has played them 5 times this year and are 4-1 SU, 3-2 ATS but have led by a minimum of 15 pts in the 4th quarter of every game.

The Thunder with or without Westbrook kill this Hou team. More shots for Durant.

i certainly wouldn't bet on them after this series though.

If he does have a tear similar to Artest then I think it would behoove the NBA/Thunder to stretch the series. Think about it.. why would they want to be so quick to advance to the next round. Houston will win one of these next two games. I'm doubling up if I lose Houston Sat. Be sharp

Agree. This situation isn't even remotely comparable to Rose's injury and what happened to the Bulls. Durant's about to go crazy.

Everyone said how they will be much worse without Harden this year and somehow they did better overall.

Look how little Books care, basically 2 points.
Just like David Lee being out.

If Durant goes down, that's a different story.

OKC not in any way better without him nor are they winning a championship without him.

Regardless, they're fixing to publicly humiliate Houston.

wasnt a dirty play... dude was going for the ball, plays hard... its the playoffs... westbrooks actions of just taking the inbound pass and la dee da-ing up the court to call the time out, was just as responsible for the injury as Beverley's hustle play.

sports fans have gotten so soft... Reggie Miller, Bird, Jordan (sh-t even John Stockton) were way more of a man's man true athlete, then the little bitches now-a-days.

20 years ago, half these "ball players" would have been male cheerleaders prancing around a giving each other high 5's and playing grab ass on the sidelines

Thunder will still win this series at least, they're gonna go suuuuper hard in westbrooks honor. Durant alone will take this useless rockets squad

If guys haven't learned yet to not fade teams when their stars out, then I just dont know what to say because we've been seeing it all season.

Thunder value at an absolute all time high

    Patrick Beverly?

don't let the seemingly innocuous sound of his name mislead you. Probably packs a rusty switchblade.

Trust me, you don't survive a day of streetball with a name like that unless you know how to hurt people

Westbrook got off easy, this guy is a killing machine.
