What major sports franchise will never win a championship?

    And why?

There are a lot of bad franchises in sports but I would say the Charlotte Bobcats

The combination of a bad owner, small market, and belonging to a league not all that interested in parity is too much to overcome. All 3 of these things would have to change for them to ever contend.

Whoever gets Wiggins might have a shot to get a couple good free agents and contend, but they are horrible right now no top 100 players

I want to say Cubs too, but Epstein, Rickett's, and Hoyer all are moving things in the right direction, they will get one sometime soon. The team has a new vibe to it.

Astros.... Need lots of pieces to fall into place, moreso then most other sports.

NFL has way too much parity, most teams will contend for conference championships once every 3-5 years or so.

NBA 1 great draft could put you right into the heart of the playoff picture in 2-3 years.

i wouldnt say small market. Charlotte has grown more than 50% since the year 2000. Getting pretty close to the size of Atlanta.

But i agree the Bobcats will never win an NBA title. The NBA should just subtract teams like the Bobcats, not enough elite basketball players in the world to make them competitive.

In baseball for example the talent gap between the best player and the worst player is not as large as it is in the NBA.

For example take Lebron James vs the leagues worst player
    Matt Carol for example...

    big talent gap there.

But even the worst player in MLB still has an upside.
