Geno Smith will likely not be drafted in the 1st round
at one point he was the projected 1st pick no longer because Chiefs got Alex Smith however looking down the list besides the Eagles and Jets and maybe the Cardinals depending on how desperate they are its difficult to see him getting drafted in the first round. Its very likely that a quarterback won't be drafed in the first round.
If he fell to eagles @ #35 id hope we take him.

If Jets are smart they draft a high quality DL and then trade down and pick up QB Mike Glennon from North Carolina State and some more draft picks.
Jets definitely will move down to acquire more draft picks. They have so many holes in their roster they need to fill.

Barkley or Nassib should be drafted before Smith.
Nassib likely will go to Bills in the 2nd round, Barkley will be a second rounder at best. Guy is just another average USC quarterback. Your better off acquiring Sanchez then drafting him at least Sanchez has shown that he can win in the playoffs

Geno threw only 21 ints in 4 years out of almost 1500 pass attempts, completion % increased each season, and has the size and tools to excel in the NFL. Also no way Geno last until the 2nd round...
Jets could grab Ryan Nassib in round 2....take Tufant and a solid pass rusher in round 1 with their two picks. Mike Glennon should last into the fourth round also if the Jets are willing to wait.
Geno Smith could be taken by the Eagles at pick #35 if he slips out of the first round or last until pick #40-#48.
its hilarious how some of these teams and owners operate...i understand how owners want to let football guys do their football stuff.....trust me i know...bob kraft learned a lesson from parcells....and belichick learned his from modell...and when belichick took the job for kraft he told him this is how its going to be.....but still....it was comical how someone let holmgren invest a valuable resource in brandon weeden without having the ability to say "ummm no"....it was horrible...desperation move to save a job...and now the browns have a new regime to clean out the mess with a waste a resource and no answer at the same position......u dont need to be jerry jones....but u should have some understanding of the game...if u dont...try to learn it....but you can put your foot down when its not sensible.....i thought that was one of the worst things ive seen in awhile....a team investing a resource like that in a 28 year old qb without someone there to say "ummm nah"....

I actually don't think it's far fetched at all that Geno doesn't go in the 1st round. If I can find the prop at the right price, I'd actually take Nassib getting picked before Geno or Barkley.
Geno Smith threw the most shortest passes out of the QB prospects. Overrated.
Nassib, Glennon & Landry Jones all better than Geno Smith.
