Can someone tell me if this is the way touts operate:

Say a tout advertises his lock of the century on a radio ad for a local sports talk show. He gets 100 callers.

50 of the callers get one side, while 50 get the other side.

After that game, the tout remembers the 50 who were on the winning side, and for those who won, he contacts 25 of them and gives them one side, and 25 of them and gives them the other side.

Of the 25 who were on the winning side again, the tout offers those 25 who happened to get both winning sides "a deal". The deal consists of a large sum of money in some form, in order to gain access to this so called winning pick goldmine.

Am I right here? When listening to local sports talk radio, I always hear commercials for these touts, so I am assuming this is what they do.

Anyone who calls someone to get a bet = loser. Never really understood why people don't have the balls to pick their own shit. Win or lose, I'd fell 100% better at the end of the day knowing I didn't depend on someone to make or lose me money besides myself.
