They give you a 1 month warning before it expires, if you renew before it actually expires, you will definitely not get reset. I think there is then a grace period (1-3 months I think but hopefully someone can clarify) in which you can still extend your pro status and it is still seen as an extension vs. becoming a new pro.

5,000 pts is the max they allow to carry over to becoming a pro for the first time.

PM and ask SBR Forum, if you would, say, make futures bets, if while they would be pending, would their amounts be subtracted from the 3000 you carry over or not since the sportsbook accepts your points? Just another possible idea. Good luck.

    well thats different

pavy said they could just give pts away from poker and they cant because they cant even play a ring game

sit n gos would not accomplish anything for what he was saying

This is a copy and paste straight from the the PRO Application:

"Press the submit button below and wait two to four business days to enjoy double betpoints and more PRO benefits. *After becoming SBR Pro, a Non-Pro whose balance exceeds 5,000 betpoints will be reset to exactly 5,000. Former Pros that let their membership lapse will also be reset to 5,000 points."

So not to be too much of a smartass but this pretty much means:

    1) The information is misleading....or

    2) Those of you who are saying 3000pts don't know what your talking about.

That being said, you don't get anything of value on this site unless you are a PRO. (besides a hat)
And I am starting to believe that there is some truth to what was said about PROS getting better cards
in Poker. I don't know how many times I've had a bad beat with some moron going ALL-IN pre-flop with 4-7 offsuit
and beating my QQ, KK, AA.

I will eventually become PRO but it depends on the amount of time I can devote to it that will make it worth it or not.
I actually have a life and a family to take care of, so I can't be on here for 6-8 hours a day to win points that are worth
around .03 to .05 cents depending on which gift you choose.

In the end its fun to play on here and I would say it's worth it, but maybe not financially for someone like me.

I'd say quit your job and concentrate on winning as many points as you can here. Just look at the big picture. One day you can be the points king of SBR!

I would have been Pro my first day here but then I saw no real benefit to it.

A Pro is subject to the same rules as a non-pro.

A Pro can still be infracted or banned the same as a non-pro.

There are no special privileges to being a pro.

    Therefore, no incentive.

The standard pro reply to a non-pro. But it is you who are the idiot. There is no real benefit to becoming pro, no real advantages. Until there is, I'll stick to being a non-pro and make fun of losers like you who think their shit don't stink just because your an sbr pro but then has to go give blowjobs for slot money every night.

    2) rigged casino

When I became a pro I carried over 12K points, so it was a no-brainer for me. Now, with the prices at these levels for merchandise and only being able to carry over 5k in points.... it's almost not worth shelling out $200 bucks unless you were planning on donating to Drs w/o Borders anyway.

Could say the same thing about any online book that has a casino but they don't give you daily free tokens for some small action. I'm up almost 1500 points since yesterday, will try for 2500 and then go pro, it's more than worth it when you have enough points for $100 worth of stuff upfront.
