Mx, Like I said... I agree 100%! At the same time you have to consider that there are many B books that are rated as C and C-.

That makes no sense. On one hand you're saying that SBR are being too conservative and should give 777 a higher rating. And in the same breath you have a go at SBR for not being conservative for having an overly high rating for BetPanAm.

I've noticed that there have been quite a few digs at SBR on the TOW site. In all honesty, you should be working together or, at the least, not trying to enter a game of one-upmanship. You're both here to help the players, don't trancend into taking pops at each other - that helps no-one.

Both Roberto and Bill know the industry very well! At the same time they have different opinions which is great and between SBR and TOW almost everybody should have an idea on where to go... If they had the same ratings for all the sportsbook than why having 2 different sites?

Sure, we could argue over this book or that book's rating. Three of us would make a list of books, rate them and spend the night arguing. I know of a few people who would argue with you about Millennium. I know a few people who would argue with me about Cris or bet365. But I would hate to see SBR rating an establishment from the manager's point of view (not talking about you or anyone else) as opposed to a player's perspective.

You say SBR is a little bit harsh with its ratings? As a player, I'm ok with that.

Don't get me wrong... To me SBR is the best and most secure place for a gambler to learn where to bet...

A statement from 777rock general manager Scott

I just received this statement from 777rock with the request to post it at towforum and at sbrforum.

"With concern to my last interview with TheOffshoreWire I would like to say that I realized some of my words were said under the emotional influence caused by the Dimebetting situation.

We have talked with SBR this morning and I think we are now on the same page. I am thankful that sites like TOW and SBR exist because they represent the only protection players have from the John Vega of this world. I have done my part in the recent past helping players and I look forward to a mutual cooperation with both sites for the future."

Good post Max. As John said, ratings are earned.

For those of us who have ever received a credit score but have yet to establish a credit history, we are aware that as financial risks we are given a very conservative score.

Ratings should really only be a guide so players can make their own informed decisions. We are always trying to add new ways to show what is behind the grade and be as transparent as possible. Some information can't be posted because it is obtained under that condition but for the most part ratings are explained throughout the site.
