Soccer Fans does it piss you off when there is a DRAW?

I had no idea they would let a world cup qualifier end in a tie.

That was rediculous. Not a single goal scored the entire game?

I felt like a dumbass for watching it on tv, can you imagine tailgating for that? getting all excited going to the stadium and just watch them kick the ball back and forth for 3 hours and then leaving them stadium after nobody even scored?

that is bullshit . soccer really needs to change those rules.Hockey finally wised up and got rid of the tie. soccer needs to do the same.

I just hate ties in sports. After the game your just like what was the point of what i just watched?

i also hate how the bad teams like USA for example act like they won the game when the tied last night. They probably werent even trying to win the game, its almost like they were just playing for the tie.

Dont get me wrong if it wasnt for the " draws" i'd love soccer. i have no problem with a low scoring game.

once they get to the elimination rounds where there has to be a winner, the world cup is awesome.

just hate how there can be 3 different outcomes in a game.

Not a soccer fan at all. I am a fan of winning. Last night was the first time wagering on soccer. Mex 60 something and 2 with half dozen draws. I got caught up in what i thought was a no brainer, the draw didn't even cross my mind. Placed at almost two to one and lost on the draw. Lesson learned, I'll chop that up as gambling school tuition. I sure would like a successful mentor to teach me this trade!

I don't mind draws. Sometimes neither team deserves to win or lose. The problem I have is that the way these point systems work, it makes the teams content with getting a draw. I see this every WC in the opening rounds. It causes teams to play defensive and not push. There's gotta be someway to make these teams risk more to go for the win.

You can bash draws all you want but they are very profitable betting them. Name one other sport that offers you +225 or better on a team not to lose.

Americans have a win or lose attitude. Americans need to have a winner and loser. That's their mentality. The rest of the world is not like that.

Doesn't bother me....it's part of the strategy.....For example we "stole" a point by drawing at Mexico

It was a "win" for us in the bigger picture

Makes tourney games with extra time/ penalty kicks even more exciting because you don't see it often.....But they need to bring back the golden goal rule......A walkoff goal is awesome

At least you get three points for a win and just one for a tie now, used to be 2 for a win and 1 for the draw.

the penalty shootout in NHL is one of the worst things in all of American sports and needs to be gotten rid of. It was only created to get fans back into the seats after the strike and at this point they should get rid of it. Nothing wrong with an NHL game ending in a tie, a team getting an extra point because they were able to score on a penalty shootout is unncessary.

they should have a no ending OT rule .. id like that better than a shootout lol .. but games could go on foreverrrrr ... espeically if u have 2 handicapped offensive teams lol

but the shootout is pretty exciting anyway .. better than a soccer shootout .. how hard is it to score on a 40 ft net with a 6 ft guy in front of u at best .. pssh soccer sucks man

It's for points and qualification. they are shooting for a top 3 finish on the table. there will be no ties in the elimination rounds of the actual world cup. see the bigger picture here, man. 3pts for a win and a single for a draw creates an interesting dynamic.
you dont like betting soccer because of the draw? then start betting ats. stay away from the ML plays.

cmon man. soccer is bigger than you.
