You can tell that SBR is based out of Costa Rica

Ticos (what Costa Ricans called themselves) are notoriously known for avoiding confrontation. They'll do anything to avoid saying they can't do something.

I think that the powers that be at SBR have been infected by this tico disease, since they still haven't said one single word about the bash.

I'm pretty sure everyone should move on and realize there will be no bash.
Not just the betisland scandal, but i wonder if they even have the funds like they did before?

US government cannot extradite there. If they rob someone nothing can be done.

Yes they can. The FBI and IRS even have an office in the building right next to where the majority of the sportsbooks are located.

    i never understood this stereotype

i have heard people reference it, but never quite experienced it myself

is it true?? i mean aren't all people in the world slight averse to "confrontations"?? how could being especially so be part of a culture?

its a very particular stereotype that I have heard, how did it come about??

and how would it even manifest itself?? can you give me an example of something that might happen in real life?

Ok I will use an example from the recent past
Lenny would have never closed shop and taken the money
and not only screw his customers but the cute little tica that worked for him
AND STAYED IN HIS HOUSE AND CONTINUED TO HANG OUT IN ESCAZU
If Escazu was part of Newak New Jersey
Some one would have stomped his guts out

Loshaque, it's similar to how Canadians are always ready to run scared from war. How they're never more than an arms reach away from a white flag. I find it weird and am not quite sure if its an inherited trait or a learned response. Either way, it's similar because its as if it only affects Candians.

Of course they are, but ticos are especially vulnerable to this. You ever stop and ask a tico for directions? They won't say they don't know. They'll gives you directions, even if they have no clue where it is.

It's like they're the most passive-aggressive people ever. They're the nicest people you'll ever meet, but put them behind the wheel of a car and all of a sudden they're super angry. Imagine being in line at the bank and if you're a second late in walking forward, somebody behind you starts screaming at you to move forward. Ticos have this art mastered.

It means you are a pussy. Some cultures are pussy cultures. Where I'm from people are very confrontational. They will come right to your face to tell you how they really feel whether you like it or not.

There are lots of mentalities embedded into various cultures. I have no clue about this Costa Rica thing but take a look here for a good example:
