    Two reasons why VMI is the play here....A) the number one handicapping tool...matchup's!....Longwood has one of the worst defenses in the country and VMI likes to run up and down the court....so in essence you have a team that doesn't like to defend against a team that runs...B) Hence in their two meetings this season, VMI won 93 - 60, and 94 - 80....Both games were routs and not even close...As a famous man once said, those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it!...I was kind of surprised when this line was VMI (-7).....In short, this game should be a layup drill for the Keydets!...

    me too...i call it the "carpet bombing" approach...as long as the definition of a unit is a small-enough % of the roll=u got lotsa bullets...

    mathematically, given the same long-run daily-average %of-the-bankroll in play..lotsa small plays has a lower variance than a few big'uns...i feel much better with twelve 1% plays than four 3% plays

    Right now I have $6k spread between 2 sites and don't mind having half of my bank out there on any given night......of course I have taken $8k out in the last 30 days, so if I have a bad 5 day stretch (something that has yet to happen in 70 days) I don't mind throwing more into an account (again, hasn't happened). Some people will call me silly or tht I am risking too much, but, as my bank goes down so do my bets.

    When I started 70 days ago (and for my first 20 days) my average bet was $30.....and now it is probably in the realm of $150-$175.

    I think it all has to do with an individual player....where they are, past variance, etc. When I started on this site everyone told me that I would be gone within a week....that I would implode because of my reckless style.....but, just like you said, a good capper can take the variance right out of the game by playing enough action.....key word being 'GOOD'.

    I was having a similar discussion with my friend about when to change unit sizes. We decided you don't increase your unit during the initial hot streak, but wait until you think you've weathered the cool down, then if still up enough to increase, go ahead and do it.

    I personally had lost/withdrawn my funds everywhere else, and had $900 at betrev, and have been using $25 units, primarily multiple unit plays as you see here. This is my first attempt at actually using units, because while up, I had never used BRM to weather the storms and see any sort of consistent return. It was deposit $500, run it up to 5k, withdraw 2k and piss the other 3 away. Rinse and repeat with a couple flat out busts in there.

    If its spread out, I really don't mind having my entire balance in play, can always go to the ATM and re-up if needed. I would think as long as you make sure and not have more than 5-7% of your bankroll on any given play, you'll be fine. Because really, these people who space it out more than us are no more likely to hit, they just drag that 1-9 stretch out over a 4 day period, we do it in a day, both of us lose the same amount if proper BM is used.
