December 7th 1941.. Pearl Harbor
God Bless America and every soldier who risked their life for the safety of our nation. Freedom is not free and we've lost a lot of good people for the right to live in a free country. May we never forget the ones who sacrificed their lives for us and may the troops that are currently in harm's way comeback safe and sound.

US Gov letting thousands of good sailors to get their ass bombed just to incite the happy we're doing just fine American's to sign up and get the big war machine working. It's a widely known truth that FDR knew about it long before it happened. Anyone watch Freedom Watch with judge Anthony Napolitano at 8 eastern on Fox Financial News channel 359 on Directv ?He is really a big FDR debunker-rightfull hater of how FDR destroyed this country and he will on the drop of a hat lay it out how FDR schemed Pearl Harbor to happen the way it did.Now some of the remaining guys that were there as soldiers were crying on tv about it how they realize their soldier friends that died were just sacrificial lambs.

The attack on Pearl Harbour was a horrible event and it is absolutely right that it has a special significance for you guys, especially anybody who lost grandparents.
Bear in mind though that WW2 was responsible for taking the lives of (at least) 40 million people the vast majority of whom were just doing their duty or were innocent civilians.
One very interesting footnote to the attack is the subsequent story of the USS Phoenix which was dubbed "the luckiest ship in the Navy".

If you want to get technical about how things would have been different, what if 78 years earlier General Robert E. Lee had listened to General Longstreet at Gettysburg. How different might our history had looked? Just a thought.
