    Finally back in Canada, British Columbia in fact.

    Flew into Kelowna BC & was very impressed with it.
    Great weather & beautiful landscapes.
    The people are really friendly & the Craft breweries are awesome. This one in particular was spot on. It was called BnA, it looked kinda like a ski lodge and it had a bowling alley upstairs. It was a Tragically Hip themed bar so I fell in love with it immediately.

    I ordered Wolverine 79 & it was like Rickards Red on steroids. I brought my beer upstairs to check out the Hip themed bowling alley

    Give this place 10/10
    Have spent alot of time with my daughter who has been working out here for 2 months on her own & killing it, couldn't be more proud of her.
    Will hate to leave her at the end of the week but Mrs. Jayvegas420, her & I travelled to Vernon BC to a resort called Sparkling Hills & this place is off the hook.
    Room is comparable to any suite in Vegas and the view is stunning.


    A couple stories about my daughter:
    When I sent her the picture of my starting stack in the WSOP, she texted back, "I hope you're cashing out."
    I told the guys sitting beside me & they laughed, thought it was funny.
    Hope I didn't already tell that one.
    Also:
    When she asked me how I lost, I tried to explain to her but she just kept asking, "Why didn't you just fold?"
    While I tried to explain to her that sometimes it isn't that simple, I started to realize that maybe that one of the big differences between a rec player like me & Daniel Negraneau.
    Daniel Negraneau probably would have made that fold, where I couldn't.
    Phil Ivey wouldn't risk 40% of his BR on one event, where I foolishly did.
    Phil Hellmuth wouldn't get excited with a $173 slot hit after busting out of a bracelet event.
    I guess what I'm trying to say is that maybe this is all just a rediculous effort in futility & I'm never gonna hit bigger than shitty little min cashes.
    Maybe it's time to give up & retire the thread for a while.

    My daughter doesn't sugar coat things for me & conversations with her can quite sobering.

    That's what I love most about her.

    Time to smoke of that crazy BC sticky icky & contemplate some of my recent life decisions.
