Why 2 series? Provided they actually win 2, why could they not go all the way from there?

Lakers could win a 7 game series vs any team in the west. Don't forget in the playoffs these monkeys get 1 -2 days off between each game. That would help lakers a lot. Okc or spurs will lose in first round anyways. Nba has to let heat win again so no way they can allow the "best " team to come out of west.

I will not post again at SBR if the Lakers don't win two rounds in the playoffs this year, or Packers make the playoffs, or 49ers don't win the Superbowl whichever comes last.

Lakers getting in this year's playoffs = Impossibility No.1

Lakers winning 1st Round vs. Top 2 Seed = Impossibility No.2

Lakers winning 2nd Round vs. Top 2 Seed =*Impossibility No.3

Kobe Bryant never playing in a playoff game again = *probable

Bro Spurs would not beat Miami. Come on now. OKC is a two man show they took a small step back losing Harden. Like me and Goaty always say though OKC will never beat Heat until Brooks goes small and takes out Perkins late in the games.

The Lakers suck. They should have maintained the corp of Kobe, Artest, and Gasol and built around them. Howard makes them worse and wasn't the answer.

You're saying OKC or the Spurs will lose in the first round because that's who the Lakers would play if they even made the playoffs which is still up in the air.

The Heat, Spurs, and Thunder are the three best teams with Miami easily number 1. As for the Thunder, I think it's ok to be a "two man" show when you have two of the best players in the league and you're number 1 in offense. They lost in the Finals last year because Miami was better. It's that simple. OKC is still one of the best teams in the league though.

Hasn't OKC beaten LA like 9 out of the last 11 or something? LA does not want to play OKC in the first round if they get in.

don't try to compare the Lakers to ANY of the real teams you mentioned above.
the Suns are a shlottery team, and you barely beat them at HOME, you are 2-1
against them, but only one real win by 12, (which is the minimum it should be)

the Clippers killed them twice and took a game off, the game you lost to the Suns,
you*had a monster lead and blew it.

if you faced the Suns in a series, it goes 7 games.
This makes the Lakers a lottery team*as well

Clippers by 18, Clippers by 26

CLIPPERS WOULD SWEEP this year's Lakers... especially with Kobe's FG% tanking like it is.. idiot shot 1-8 last night?*but i guess we will never know.. will we?*

LOL*no more "mvp"chants during his FTs i noticed*

BELOW is what happened to the Suns in the two games they lost to the Clippers, they beat the Clips on a day they were sleep-walking

    LOL.

I know a lot of people hate him but he is a good defender and serves his purpose. He is still valuable because the Lakers can put him on the other teams top scorer.

Gasol is a very skilled big man and Kobe, despite my dislike for him, is one of the all-time greats. Also, Gasol and Kobe have proven they can win titles together.

D'Antoni and Howard will be (or already are) this team's undoing imo. Howard isn't a winner and is a total baby. He isn't mentally tough enough to deal with Kobe. D'antoni is bad coach and his style doesn't fit the Lakers at all.

Adding Nash wasn't a bad move but the Lakers need more lunch pale guys and role players. They're just not a team and look lost a lot of times. When this happens, Kobe tries to prove points by being a baby and not taking any shots, D'antoni loses control, Howard's feelings get hurt, Gasol fills disrespected, and it's just one gigantic soap opera.

The Lakers have too many issues to have any type of post-season success, if they even make it. The only guy that could fix them was probably Phil Jackson as he is the only coach that Kobe listens to.

I didn't say build around Artest and trade everyone. Try comprehending what I posted.

I said the Lakers had a good corp with Artest, Kobe, and Gasol and they should build around "them".

Obviously I wasn't insinuating build a team around Artest and if you got that out of my post its pointless to even have a discussion since you don't understand what I'm even talking about.

No. Artest should not be part of any team's core. That time was 5-10 years ago.

Hey retard..............you clearly stated above:"a team that stuggles against the lottery Suns....is not doing anything remotely close to what the title of this thread claims" (which is winning the first two rounds of the playoffs).

I simply listed teams that not only "struggled" against the Suns, but actually lost to them. You writing a diatribe response doesn't change the fact that you talk out of your ass way to often. However, I do find your obsession with the Lakers and Kobe quite hilarious.

    dear Low IQ Laker fan,

if you are destined to be in the playoffs, and are going to win 2 Rounds (trying to type thru the laughter)

then you will beat the Clippers tonite/but that is not going to happen.

Clippers will be ahead at Half and cover. LAC (-1.5) 1H
and the Clippers will be ahead after 4 Qtrs. and cover again LAC (-3)

hell, i will even throw in the 2H line.. LAC (whatever) 2H
that is how badly you suck

i do not know why you keep doubling down..

Lakers win the West. Lakerman finally understanding what I've been saying about a 7 game series.

Has nothing to do with Stern. Wake up. Lakers wouldn't have gotten swept by the Mavs two years back. Spurs wouldn't have been in the finals with the Pistons. Spurs wouldn't have swept Lebron. Miami wouldn't have lost in 2011, because then Stern could be setting up a 3 peat for Lebron James and Wade right now to put him "in the discussion" with Jordan and Bryant.

    Open your eyes.

hmm... this "trail by double-digits" strategy that the Lakers are running here in the 1st Half
is pretty interesting*let's see how it pans out..

maybe this that Muhammad Ali 'rope-a-dope' strat.. ? (NBA style)

let the Clippers get tire themselves out making buckets and threes?

quite innovative. especially in a MUST-WIN game for the Lakers.*
