Does Anyone Here Follow The Gambling Principle of Martingle to Profit?

The strategy has the gambler double his bet after every loss, so that the first win would recover all previous losses plus win a profit equal to the original stake

Brock, this may be your system.

the probability of losing the entire bankroll and being unable to continue the martingale is equal to the probability of 6 consecutive losses: (10/19)6 = 2.1256%. The probability of winning is equal to 1 minus the probability of losing 6 times: 1 − (20/38)6 = 97.8744%.

Yes there are many people here that employ the martingdale betting system. Eventually they only are betting betpoints but yes they are utilizing martingdale.

Even if you had an unlimited bankroll, how would you account for the max bet limit whether it's blackjack or sports betting?

I don't know about you, but I've once lost 14 consecutive bets on -110/-115 lines, so I'm not sure Martingale is a good system for anyone

Probably works best in roulette. Need to start at very small dollar amount or else you may run into table max. Like any wagering if you don't have an exit strategy you will sit there all night and that is exactly what they want you to do. If you try it with sports wagering you may reach your choke point real quickly if you go on a six or eight game losing streak.

flip a coin..odds are the same... bet 1...bet 2..bet 3...whos to say bet 4 wins? bet 5..can still lose..so can bet 6.. Then you will say its all rigged... Well,..flip a coin and try to predict this. Same principle.

Playing poker with a great ol' Chinese man the other night...Guy goes on to tell me one of the single most important lessons I've EVER heard in my life.

"Does not matter size of wager, only wager placed."

The key to martingale is to have win limits which very few have the discipline to do.

    Try the reverse Martingale!
Double when you win and take your bet down when you lose!

Always trust the Asian old guys.

I myself, find the Martingale system pretty .. doubtful. I don't like risking my bankroll like this.

Actually, I have heard that using Martingale system is better in baccarat than in roulette, mainly because of the lower house edge. What do you guys think, where do you use it more?

He was kidding dude, you should NEVER martingale.

If you start at $10, you're looking at over 5k by the 10th bet. Who the fukk has a goal of making $10 in profit, while risking that kind of money to get there.
