Describe how Alex Smith feels today

I would guess it's something like wanting to put 1 million down on a bet but only getting 50k down in time and losing

He is feeling great. Seeing Kaep fail miserably by not being able to call a play, he is laughing all the way to the bank.

Kaepernick is better than Smith. It's just the way life goes... someone is always at the right place at the right time.

And Smith is cashing a huge check... no need to be mad.

Kap didn't play distinctly BAD that game, if the defense could hold their shit together they would have had a better chance. Smith if anything just wishes he had a shot because that first half didn't go so well but after that second half I'd assume he's proud of the rookie. He's a good guy and Kap gave it his best

It would have been better if they let Alex Smith finish the season. We will never know if he was good enough to win a Superbowl because his chance was taken away unjustifiably and his coach looks like a tard now.

It was only a matter of time until kaep would start. The rumblings for kapernick have been there ever since he got drafted.

Kaep throws a great ball as well as what he does with his legs. If Crabtree hadn't tried to intercept a pass for Moss and Moss hadn't quit on an earlier route (the one where there was nobody there but Ed Reed) then the game could have had a very different outcome.

People give the QB credit for the entire passing offense, and the outcome of the game, when there's a lot more going on there.

kap didn't do bad, he led them to 29 points. their "vaunted" d should have played better. id still take alex smith as the qb for my pos team though (bills).

Just wait till Kaper goes for a run next season and some big black man crushes his long lanky legs, and Kaper tears an MCL, ACL, and then some. Smith will be long gone to some other team and karma will come back to bite Jim Haroroughlalaaah and they won't make it back to the big show in another 20 years

i have to say kaepernick is the most accurate mobile qb i've seen period.

he will be better than rg3.

fukk alex smith. he isn't a franchise qb like kaepernick...

I'm pretty sure Aaron Rodgers is more accurate and he can use his legs when he needs to.

So THAT's why they beat the niners on January 12th..

Wait no they lost by 14:

SAN FRANCISCO -- Colin Kaepernick ran for a quarterback playoff-record 181 yards and two touchdowns and threw two scoring passes to wide receiver Michael Crabtree in leading the San Francisco 49ers back to the NFC Championship Game with a 45-31 victory over the Green Bay Packers on Saturday night.

The 49ers will play on the road against the top-seeded Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship Game at 3 p.m. ET next Sunday. The Falcons defeated the Seattle Seahawks 30-28 on Sunday.
Playoff first-timer Kaepernick outshined reigning NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers, who never got in sync for the Packers in finishing 26-of-39 passing for 257 yards and two touchdowns.

Kaepernick ran for scores of 20 and 56 yards on the way to topping the rushing mark of 119 yards held by Michael Vick. Crabtree caught TD passes of 12 and 20 yards in the second quarter and wound up with nine receptions and 119 yards for the 49ers in the NFC divisional-round matchup.

San Francisco had 579 total yards, 323 on the ground.

Who cares if the 49ers beat the Packers? If you think Kaeprenick is better than Aaron Rodgers you are insane. Football is a team game.

I thought this was a pretty damn good analogy. Started this thread off nicely, then Pavy got to talking and things went downhill from there.

Uh, he's still rich- ru, ruh, ruh ru ruh.

I totally agree. Time after time he hits his receivers in stride while scrambling. Rogers and Luck etc. usually hit the back shoulder or underthrow or something

I'm not saying he is a better QB right now but his ability to scramble and throw is the best
