    IF Pitt Wins are they a *lock* for the Big Dance?

    barring injury or cataclysmic slide?

    with their quality wins and loses I think it puts them over the top given their sched coming up.

    great team to fade in early rounds if they make it.

    Dixon is a top 5 coach for getting it done with a team with a huge lack of top end talent this year.

    What's their other quality win, GTown I guess. Their OCC schedule was atrocious, played Michigan yeah but then the sisters of the poor for every other game. If they win this game which they won't, they would probably be in at the moment.

    Who knows, 10-8 or 9-9 in a down Big East with that OOC schedule would be close. Depends on the other bubble teams and luckily I don't have to worry about that stuff anymore. Gotta win at Cincy or Marquette I'd think to have another solid road win.

    Cool, and you think they should be in if they go 4-4 with the wins being against Seton Hall, St. John's, South Florida and DePaul? Would leave them with a win over Georgetown. Down year across CBB if Pitt is an 8 seed. Gonna be an embarrassing tourney for the Big East with some of these teams in on the way out, fitting way to end I suppose.

    4-4 gives them 10-8 in the conf and I can't remember a team in the BE not getting in with a 10-8 record since the expansions started

    We didn't get in 06-07 with a 10-6 record because our OOC schedule awful and had one good win against GTown at home.

    Classic Jimmy, he inflates teams before we play them and especially after we lose. You can pull up any of his press conferences after we lose and he will have said the same thing.
