Does Grant Hill have any shot at the Basketball Hall of Fame??

got to admire his perserverence through the years of injuries in his prime but will he have done enough?

is he just an accumulator that is playing too far into his old age?

    No chance.

Archie, you must be really desperate for conversation this evening if you're starting this thread. What's going on? Are you and your wife having problems?

    I disagree thegiant

Grant hill had a better pro career than Ralph Sampson and actually won a lot at the college level unlike Sampson

Remember that the hoops hof isn't just about the MBA thegiant

Its the basketball hall of fame not NBA

so his HS career and College Career are going to help alot.

3 NCAA championship games with 2 titles

he was voted in, he did not even play a game some of those seasons he was an "all star"

Laettner was a legit all star and started over #1 pick Kwame Brown

maybe if he becomes a successful coach to go along with his playing career which is very plausible

Love him or hate him, Laettner is one of the most accomplished and decorated college players to ever lace em up.

that wont count you can get in the HOF twice as both player and coach Lenny Wilkens, Larry Brown are if not others.

Hill played in 6x the amount of all star games. He may not be HOF. But was light years better than Laettner. It's not even close

Hill was one of the biggest losers of all time did not get out of the first round until his 15th year in the league. Antawn Jamison, Hill, and McGrady a three way tie for biggest loser in NBA history

Yes she is mad I gained 85 lbs of fat since 2009. Drops me off at gym for 2 hrs a day and has a lock on the fridge. I'm up to 10 mins of walking and 110ins of watching tv and stretching.

so many guys posting in this thread have no idea how the nba hof works

    it's pretty much a joke

look at hill's stats and his nba career is VERY similar to chris mullin's

    mullin is in the hof

and wasnt an ncaa champ and really didnt accomplish dick with his teams in the nba either

you idiots have convinced me that grant hill is a lock

but like i said it means nothing because the bball hof is a joke

actually now that people have reminded me in this thread multiple times

I guess a better question..... or more closer to in is Tracy McGrady

I think both Hill and McGrady have interesting cases to be made for and against.

if grant hill is a hof'er...then glenn robinson..eric snow and eddie jones r too...hes been an alright player..but he was never great..like when orlando wanted to sign hill and tmac..i was against that...which would have made me executive of the year...cant just let every guy who averages 16 ppg or whatever in

Grant Hill hasn't been relevant since his Detroit Piston days and making McDonald's commercials back in 1996

I'd edge towards no but it's closer then people think

He had a great college career and was an elite all-star/difference maker in the pro's before injuries started to heavily derail his career.

2 national titles, ACC POTY, Rookie of the year, Rookie First-Team, 7 time all-star, all-nba in '97, Olympic gold winner in Atlanta 96.

It's amazing that he's still ranked fourth amongst active players in triple doubles (ahead of Kobe and KG!)
