Not to mention he guards the other teams best wing player every game. I'm an IU fan and I'm astonished by how much he's improved this year.

Put simply, whoever wins B1G player of the year gets NPOY.

Burke or Victor get it, it would be deserving.

That said, Burke is my top pick in the draft next year, and I'd be willing to bet he goes top 5ish.

Again, his defense is just as good -- if not better -- as his offense. And IU doesn't exactly need for him to score 20 a game.

Burke?!?!? Burke's 6-feet tall, at best. A great creator, but he's going to have trouble at the next level because of his size.

Burke won't even go in the lottery.

Looked at a bunch of mock drafts that had him going somewhere between 15 and 20. I was surprised too. I think Burke will be an NBA star quickly.

I love Burke's motor and his ability to improvise, but again, he's 6-0 at best. I've heard and read it's more like 5-10.

    Trey Burke isn't Chris Paul.

Trey Burke isn't even college Chris Paul.

Paul at Wake >>>> Burke at Michigan.

Just looked up a mock draft site and it had Trey Burke going 21 and Oladipo going 22......Both players will/should go higher though IMO, especially Oladipo

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Trey is going to = Chris Paul...Paul is one of the all-time greats, but I'm just saying that his type can still have NBA success and he does remind me of a Chris Paul lite. If he goes in the 29's somebody is going to get a steal of a franchise PG.

Yeah, I'm "way off" -- along with most NBA scouts.

Stats mean nothing re: NBA potential. Chris Paul was a Top-5 pick. Trey Burke will be lucky to crack the Top-15 or even 20. That is not even debatable, nor is how good Paul's overall game was vs. how good Burke is -- and I like Burke.

Stick to burying yourself kid. Only you would be dumb enough to talk shit on a night like this. You were what, 10 when Burke was at Wake? WTF do you know?

Unless you watched them both play in college -- which I'm confident you didn't see Paul on a regular basis -- you have no leg to stand on.

Again, Burke is an outstanding college player. Offensively speaking, you could say he's in the same neighborhood as Burke. Defensively it isn't even remotely comparable.

No player I'd rather have on Syracuse than VO and we could really use an offensive threat at center. 6'6 MCW and 6'5 VO at the top of the zone. We would suffocate teams. Plus he would be a go to guy on offense. Indiana may be the team to beat this year that separates themselves, big time going into the Breslin Center and getting a win.

I think Burke's stock has taken some hit after the ease at which Dawson, Harris & Appling harassed him out of the MSU game.

As for Oladipo, his stock is for rising, I see him getting taken in the draft as shooting guard who can play top notch defence. If his vision of court & decision making continues to improve then if may play point in the NBA as well. Just look at how many teams that struggle to contain guards in the NBA. For me Burke is a luxury pick with potential while Oladipo is a necessity for many teams out there now.
