Such a shame Harding was diagnosed with MS a few months ago. Probably gonna shorten his career. The wild may play with more effort when he's in net this year...something to consider

I'd go with Rask but hockey is a team sport and requires strength at every position in order to win long-term. I think Rask will be top 3 in every goaltending category by the end of the regular season.

NHL long term is 16 playoff wins and 2 months. You can do that with a very hot goalie like LA did last year. Did you think that when roy won the cups in montreal they were a team with strength at all positions? That 86 habs team was one of the worst to ever win a cup. the 93 team was not much better.

My point is that the difference between Rask, Rinne, and Lundqvist is neglible. They are all premier goaltenders. What sets them apart is the shots they will face (defensive blocking in front of them and odd man rushes and penalty kill situations) and wins (offensive production). These are things completely out of their control. The question is flawed.

The better question is what team will allow the fewest goals against this season?
