    Handicapping Contest

Now that I am a Pro, am I able to organize a a Handicapping Tournament?
I was thinking winner take all. 5 bets minimum. 100 points. NFL, NBA,NHL, NCAAB.

    Something like that

So you can bet across many different leagues? Or one different league for NFL, NHL etc?

Would this be a 1 day tournament since it would only be 5 picks? Sounds interesting and i'd probably be down

Not sure a one-day tournament works because you would have a ton of ties with a low minimum, and if you raise the minimum too much a lot of guys would force plays and defeat the purpose of the contest.

OK, I'll get on this tonight.
I think I'll do 3 days, 3 sports, mandatory Super Bowl pick, no minimum selections.
100 point entry fee. winner gets everything except 100 points which is returned to 2nd place.
    Anything else I am missing?

I'll start it 3 days before the Super Bowl.

When does Grapefruit & Cactus Ball start?

LT has to put up 200 points!!!!
    LOL

So I assume you are running this manually and not through sbrcontests. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Actually I'm just gonna run a preliminary Tourney & a Preliminary League.
No cast to join. It's just what I'd call a test run so, I can get a feel for the two different types of contests.

    The Preliminary Tourney:
    Max Members : 64
    Round Timespan: 3 days
    Max Round Plays: 0
    Min Round Plays: 5
    Bet Range: 2
    Base Betting: no
    Best Bets Required: 0
    Show Pending: Yes
    Grading Method: Net Units

    Does this make sense?

At contests you can't customize point allocation unless SBR does it for you and you can't "force" anyone to play the Super Bowl.
