Sanchez and Flacco, losing AFCCG's since 2008! all 5 of them... this will be a fact if Pats win on Sunday

No kidding--I'll give flacco credit for making that throw that tied the game but it was the defender that screwed up the coverage.Flacco is nothing special & I am not saying he doesn't belong in the NFL but he's not even above avg.
On a side note you must be pretty happy-now that GB is out i'm on the niners bandwagon hope there's room.

Wins are NOT a good gauge of a quarterback. With that said, he does have a 102 QB rating over the past 6 playoff games.

Peyton Manning breaks the record for most playoff losses next year.

As far as QB ability, I grade Cam slightly ahead of Flacco. Can't give Flacco credit for every playoff win, it's a team game.

In 2 years, does Cam even have 1 4th quarter comeback victory under his belt yet? Real question, not sure of the answer.

No, I meant Flacco after year 2. I guess I could have worded that differently.

Yes Luck is quite a specimen, I've never seen a crop of young QBs like this year, it's amazing.

I already said above, I've got Luck and the youngsters above Flacco, and with good reason. They "proven" plenty.

Then again, the OP seems excited about the prospect of Flacco being the next Donovan McNabb. To each his own.

yeah ok I thought you meant for his entire career up until now... which i first thought, no way! he had a 4th q comeback vs the pats this year.

    the next McNabb, lol

Pats vs San Fran, don't care if its square. It's the NFL and favorites are killing it besides the Broncos who just plain blew it all phases of the team besides kick and punt returning lol

Flacco also has the best streak in NFL history in regards to interceptions having only thrown only 10-12 in each of his first 5 seasons.

    Flacco is elite. Face reality.
    What does elite mean? Top 2 QB? 3? 5? 10? I can easily name 5 QB's I'd prefer.

Good call, Paul. I totally forgot about Ben. Several QBs have done it. Philly is just making up stats to support Flacco.

All these stats happened in the last 12 years though so what does that tell you?

Studio NFL is my take, they changed so many rules to help the QB and his passing game that you no longer have to be a great QB to be a great QB...............

all these arguments was meaningless let's face it QB who wins clams for you is good and elite on the flip side QB who lose money for you sucks it's human nature but seriously I think Flacco is much better than Peyton but I think Peyton will do much better than Flacco as a sport commentator in Fox or CBS or ESPN also he will do great on TV commercial when he retire and that's a fact...to me I think the greatest QB all time is Montana and Unites well I will put Staubach as third if I have to...

he has been on a team with a great defense year after year. flacco is good at one thing only, throwing the deep ball, backyard football type stuff, his numbers when throwing shorter routes are not great. having ray rice also helps a big deal get into the playoffs..and also one of the best coaching staffs in the league. i would not put him in the elite category {brady, manning, rodgers, brees** not even close man, i wouldnt be surprised if flacco does not get his big contract. maybe flacco goes to arizona, fitz would love that

Can't say if Marino was on a better team he would have a lot better results. Great QBs make their teams great. Brady did it last year with the worst defense In the league and Rodgers as well. The packers defense is horrendous but they are still a really good team because he's an elite QB.

hes not a top 15 qb. he has a-lot of road wins because they have a wild card and divisional round now. *yawns*

he would be nothing without ray rice and a good d.

Flacco is most definitely not an elite quarterback. He hasn't proved himself as an elite. Elite quarterbacks are any of the following quarterbacks: Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, or Ben Roethlisberger. The middle of the pack is where Flacco belongs. Definitely not elite! Good luck tomorrow! I will be on Brady and the Patriots all day tomorrow!
