Jerry Jones wants Red Haired Jesus OUT- ESPN Reports

There is hope for Cowboys fans. ESPN reports Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones wants head coach Jason Garrett to relinquish his offensive play-calling duties, ESPN reported Saturday. The Cowboys finished 8-8 this season and missed the playoffs. They are 21-19 in two years under Garrett, who has faced criticism for his clock management. Jones also reportedly wants Garrett to fire his brother, John, who is the team's tight ends coach. John Garrett is the team's passing game coordinator. Mike Florio of NBC Sports' Pro Football Talk reported that Jones is asking Garrett to stop calling the offensive plays and fire his brother as a way of getting Garrett to resign.

As an owner, you have to sometimes admit you were wrong for the benefit of the team. The Cowboys could have gotten a much better coach; however, Jones settled for Garrett. Now, he doesn't want to fire him because it would be equal to saying he was fully wrong, so he doing these tacky tactics to make him quit. I honestly doubt Jones is going to fire him, especially now considering most of the fired coaches have already been picked up. So, therefore, it's going to be another year of Jason Garrett being unable to bring the team together, prepare well for a game, make adjustments during the game, and botch clock management. I almost pity Cowboys fans.

He wants his HC gone yet hires a new DC before addressing that issue. Sounds like Kiffin could possibly be a lame duck before getting his first practice in with Dallas. Unreal how stupid and ego driven Jones is.

Looking at Romo's body language on the field, I would have to say a definitive YES.

The Kiffin hire is horrifyingly stupid.

He's an old man. He was bent over at USC. And suddenly he's going to be able to turn Dallas' defense around?

Jerrah can't get out of his own way.

Horrible, negative personality trait to not be able to admit you are wrong.

Then, he compounds with this passive-aggressive shit. Fire him, or ask for his resignation explicitly.

that play calling down the stretch in that game against the giants should have been the last straw.

Garrett is not an NFL coach. Coaches that lose 1-3 games/year for their team due to horrible management have no place running anything. It's fine if Jerry is a completely senile moron, cowgirls fans tears are delicious. Between the Jets and Dallas, you have the 2 greatest clown car shows on earth and they bring tons of entertainment.

I never blame JJ he's under the rader he's responsible for the multi million dollars franchise. he has no choice to do what's he gotta do to save the organisation whether you like it or not. it's not kansas city it's a football kingdom it's the america's team.

i really didn't think there was anything wrong with Rob Ryan? he significantly improved their defensive numbers across the board even with injuries to key guys and having guys coming in and playing off the street.

you cant win when Romo is throwing picks in every crucial point of every big game. Jones is getting to be just like Al Davis.

the cowboys look like the crimson tide compared to the jets. my jets here are horrendous and the off field activities are embarassing and sad.

we have an owner who seems to love rex ryan who admits to never coaching defense and a coach who might be letting the qb bang his wife while he sucks her toes.

The dallas cowboys are the laughing stock of the NFL. That was only further evidenced when they got in a twitter war with the dallas stars earlier in the week and the stars fired back and punked romo and then after the cowboys appologized for firing the 1st shot the stars left the insulting tweet up there anyway. What kind of half assed organization rips another professional sports franchise in the same city. I guess we wont be seeing any cross promotional stuff between the stars and the cowgirls anytime soon, fukking morons.
