a couple weeks ago the progressive jackpot for caribean stub poker was hit at my work for $157,000 , the old guys second hand of the day, the dealer qualified with AK and he also got $4000 on his back bet. then he followed it up with leaving the dealer a $500 tip----weak. If i ever hit that it would automatically be my favorite game to play

500 tip is weak???? i am a good tipper my ex wife was a bartender so i know about good and bad tipping. for you to say that a 500 tip is weak is the problem with people today. the dealer is doing a job that he/she is getting paid for you dont know if the dealer was a dikk to the player there are a lot of different factors that go into tipping.

    Pai gow poker for me

I love peeling back each card slowly, you get 7 cards of excitement plus the dealer hand getting flipped over for each bet. With all the ties it's good bang for your buck

Probably my favorite game, even though it has probably the worse odds at the casino

Another favorite is Sic-Bo: Craps with 1 more die.

I do know how nice the dealer was for i was the supervisor in that pit that day. The dealers make $4.25/hr and rely heavily on tips to bring home a decent wage. If you say you are a good tipper and would leave a $500 tip for winning $161,000 . You would be leaving a grand total of 0.31% tip . If i were to tip your ex-wife on a $100 Bar Tab and left her 31 cent tip to bring home to you. How would you think of people today then? Your post is crazy and so is your tipping skills , JUST SAYIN.

They say on jackpots and things alike to tip 3-5% . It is dfiferent from waiters and waitresses who get 15-20%.. the cocktail waitresses actually make way more money than the dealers do and all they do is bring 2 drinks an hour.

Roulette is awesome when your winning. Won about a grand last time I was at Coushatta. Kept playing the twenties and betting heavy on 21-23. Hit 23 a couple of times with $12 on it.

I only tip dealers that get to keep the whole dollar amount. I don't give to tables that split money. I don't want to give 10 dollars, just so the guy i want it to go to only gets 10 cents

isn';t it all tip sharing, so if a high roller sits and blackjack with 50k and wins 500k and tips 10 K that dealer does not get he 10K. right?

I tip as I play to make it fun, if i am betting 25-50 a hand i'll throw a 5 bet out for the dealer very often. probably the kinda of thing you'd see from larger bettor but it's a volitale game so i never gave it a second thought. I also believe dealers are chip handlers so if i sat down with 20K and playedd 1k a hand. and i won 5K profit in a short period i don't think they deserve a big tip. I mean if a dealer is dealing with a player betting 5K a hand or $5 it's the same task.

If I won 160k I'd throw the dealer a $5 and walk away. Why do people believe in tipping so much? These dealers are PAID. Should I tip the fukkin cashier when I buy groceries or the kid working the till at McDonald's when he gives me my order?

she would take the tip with a smile but if you think you would get the same service next time you came in you are out of your mind. this dealer is getting 500 extra to do his/her job. that is life deal with it. im a 25% tipper so most service people will tell you im a good tipper. when im playing craps if the table is going good i put the dealers on the hardaways and the point for a nickel so thats 25 every time for the entire roll. if a soft # comes out i replace the 5 for them and when i cash out at the end of a session i always throw the dealers a few bucks no matter if i win or lose

Hey, I understand you need some poorly conceived notion of "society" to justify your thinking. I like to believe there's still a chance of a decent, polite society to exist, despite fukks like you thinking you're somehow ahead of the curve because you saved some money.
