checks aren't working at cakepoker, is what they told me last week, but they do have epass, although i heard its hard to cash out larger amounts via epassporte

Does anyone know what city/state and country the checks are coming from? Supposedly a CS rep told me that my check was sent via DHL on 04/05/07 but no tracking #. Someone at DHL told me that they could track a shipment for me w/out a tracking # if i knew what city/country it was coming from.

so far from this thread it seems checks under 2k go via dhl and are issued somewhere in vegas, checks over 2k come out of germany and go via priority mail? though i have no clue this just is what people have posted on here so far

i believe checks for more than 2k are being sent by regular mail, not priority mail. the one i received for 15k was in a plain white envelope. i deposited it on saturday and it is still pending. the previous one i received from vegas for 1000.50 cleared a while back.

I talked to one of the cs guys... i asked him about banking information and if you gave the wrong information would the wire still have been sent succesfully... he said all information is verified before hand thus pretty much ruling out anyone filling out the withdrawal form incorrectly.

ha, i imagine he did a **********, i'd be suprised if he didn't, since a few weeks ago he was 100% sure sportsbook was going under and nobody was getting paid, so now he probably just hopes that they are going under so we all get fk'd cuz he probably foreited his profits via the **********.

Some more good news...another check for 1k

One of my friends called me today and he received his 1k check that was processed actually on the 29th and printed on the 4th..Citibank - New York was on the check.. He was one of the ones who had his money put back into his account after the first go round in Feb.. Since he cashed it today dont know if it will clear.. I imagine so.. I just hope he forgives me for introducing him to sportsbook.com... what a headache!!!! Im still waiting on my wires and check... Keep me updated..

I will let you all know if I recieve any payment. As of right now, I've stopped making any additional deposits onto Sports.com. What's the point? Even if you win, it doesn't mean anything if they don't pay you. You might as well go onto Comcast and pay for a Pay-per-view and watch and enjoy a game. I've been with Sports.com for almost 6 1/2 years now and this is the first time I've had such a big problem. Interestingly enough, during March Madness when I made 2 deposits of $250 I never received an email receipt... and it's been downhill ever since. Last week Wednesday they told me it would be a 7-10 day delay. Today I got a 7-10 delay after switching it to bankwire. I think that Sports.com may be affiliated with Sportsbook.com because as I read through the threads I saw an incident that was "exactly" the same as what my business partner experienced just a couple of days ago. He finally got a check ($3150). One that he'd requested from 3/24. The check look kinda weird cause it was from a foreign country. He went to the bank to do an ATM deposit. This week he got a letter back from Washington Mutual that told him that they were unable to process the check. He had to pay $33 to process the bounced check. MAN! I'm just posting this hoping that no one out there feels like their an isolated case (though I'm sure they probably don't feel that way after looking through this thread)... Good luck everyone!

I was playing until last weekend.. I stopped playing and decided to cash my last bit of money out for now. I did cash out some money earlier, but it should not be here until Friday or next week. I made sure to cash out what I started with plus some winnings. I was doing so well it was hard to stop, but I finally decided that I better get all my winnings out before they become losses. Thanks for the concern though.. Im probably going to just play a few tourneys with their freerolls and gold coins and gold cards until the storm passes.. This way im really risking nothing.. Seems like a lot of people just got checks so we should know by the end of the week or early next week if they are going to bounce.. I hope sportsbook.com is not exactly the same as sports.com for my sake.. Sorry bout your friends money though.. that sucks.!! Bank wires cant bounce so im optimistic that my funds will be there if I actually get one..

Hey guys.. Been looking at this thread along w/ covers for the last 2 weeks. Posted on covers when my check was said to be sent on the 28th..I just recieved my check for 2K today. They had told me that it was sent "Express Courier" but it just showed up in a reg. white envelope like some others have stated. The check was cut in Buffalo NY at a Citibank branch. In the upper left of the check it says:SEB AG, Mainzer Landstr. 16, Frankfurt 60283, Germany. In all I recieved it on the 9th business day from the 28th. It was originally requested on the 18th. Just wanted to further ease some minds that the money is arriving and give what info I can.

Checks Clearing?

To the people who received those German checks - has anyone's check cleared? Seems like one person's check could not be processed by WaMu (though that was from sports.com) - that makes me very nervous since I bank at WaMu also. If anyone's German check has cleared, please reply. And please post with what bank/check cashing place.

(Doesn't seem to be any problem with the Interbill checks from Vegas).
