    Why doesn't anyone ever recognize OJ?

    no one ever mentions this stat

    OJ Simpson - 1973 - 143.1 yards per game
    Eric Dickerson - 1984 - 131.6 yards per game
    Adrian Peterson - 2012 - 131.1 yards per game

    tony dorsett was their #1 back that year....the next year they shipped td to denver and herschel lead the nfl in yards from scrimmage

    the next year he had over 2000 yards from scrimmage

    it's funny that as far as sec heismans go, bo is the icon and herschel was "one of the most overrated nfl players ever" and bo dreams of having the career herschel did....sure bo got hurt but how many others were remembered for so little due to injury? herschel's sin was the trade that made the cowboys 3 time champs and its not like he made that happen himself
