A road game in the middle of the season where Balt was fighting for their lives in the play off hunt isnt the play offs.

The ONLY reason Den would be a small dog is because books know Peyton manning is a bigger money sponge than brady.

Big difference is Patriots WIN those games. Patriots as a dog are automatic money ATS. Not so great SU, just 500 but ATS they have only 1 loss.

Books might try and pull a fast one and just make Pats +1 with big vig, throw out a 'safe' ML 2 days before the game and let it get slapped around a little bit, and hope, but I dont see it. That would be a big gamble on their part. A lot of people will bet Manning, but the BIG money will bet the Patriots in any dog capacity in the Play offs. Books have to factor that in.

Denver has beaten one good team this year, and has been the benefactor of as easy a schedule as youll see next to whatever schedule Alabama has in the NCAA. We dont know really how good they are yet, they certainly havent proven anything to deserve the odds they have. While Pats arent exactly world beaters they have stepped up in a few big games and even had that SF laugher start to get close. THATS why patriots have to be respected. In a basically meaningless game where they were losing by 100 they scored so many points late people were actually thinking they could win it. Pats could have just mailed that game in, but they didnt. if they do that on a meaningless game against an NFC opponent what are they going to do in an AFC championship type game?

Brady beat Manning 31-21 earlier this year at home.

Brady destroyed Tebow 41-23 in Mile High, deceiving the public that Brady can win anywhere.

Manning must be shaking in his boots at the thought of Brady coming to Denver and shitting on his face again.

Brady is something like 10-4 all time against Manning. Your gonna give the Pats +money at Denver and not suspect the Pats to be pounded? I don't care that Manning is on the other side of the ball, your dreaming if you think the books will give the Pats +3.

    It depends when they meet.

If NE travels to DEN for the Divisional Round, then the line will be DEN -3.
If NE travels to DEN for the Conference Championship, then the line drifts down to DEN -1 1/2.

Jake Plummer was favored by -3.5 and -3 twice against Tom Brady in Denver in the 2005/2006 season. And Yes, Brady lost both time to Jake Plummer.

Brady I believe still has a losing record vs the Broncos, the only NFL team with that distinction. May have changed after the three straight losses though

With everyone saying Denver's cupcake schedule, I did a quick opponents' record comparison vs. NE. Denver has had a slight easier schedule. Didn't have time to do every team, so don't know where the fall with other teams...

Opponents' 2012 record and teams record vs. 2012 playoff teams

    Denver

    108-117 (.480) - oppt record
    *2-3 vs. 2012 playoff teams

    NE

    112-111-2 (.502) - oppt record
    *3-3 vs. 2012 playoff teams

No they don't.Books don't gamble on games like that. They adjust lines to get even money on both side and collect the juice and they win regardless of the result.

you know nothing about the gambling industry. books gamble 1% of the time.

reggie wayne is most definitely a hof receiver. not even a question.

let's think who manning had on defense, most guys in their primes.

freeny, mathis, bathea, marlin jackson, bob sanders, raheem brock, bracket, nick harper, kelvin hayden,

that's a good defense. not to mention the guy had a number of great rbs, 2 hall of fame receivers, a great tight end, and one of the best o lines in thte league and one of the best coaches in the league too.

Denver has good defensive pieces but they are weak in the secondary and look at their offense. It's not even good. Who do they even have? No bodies.

Pats D is better than it's been in 5 years. Offense better than it's been since the 18-1 Pats team. Brady gets up to play when he's playing against Manning. So those stats you cited Frost don't mean shit.

Zookyouk, Tebow won 1 playoff game I thought, then got dick smacked by the Patriots in the next game.
