If this game was played right @ Denver I get

    Denver -4.5

However Denver has yet to beat any top 10 team this year 0-3.

Pats not much better going 2-2

Meanwhile Seattle is 5-1 against top 10 and San Fran is 4-2 as well.

pats-2.5 is the line. Brady owns Peyton regardless of the place. Peyton had 1 good half against Pats in the playoffs in all those matchups.

I know this has no bearing...just sharing considering since 2003 the the Pats have made the playoffs (minus 2008)

Last time the Patriots were a dog in a playoff game....

    2006 @ IND (3.5) where they lost 34-38

There were also +4.5 @ SD that same year.

2005 there were +3.5 @ Denver where they lost 13-27

how so. Brady will not lose in Denver. I can see the Pats losing in the superbowl or maybe to another team in the AFC but it will not be Denver. Denver on paper is the easiest matchup for Brady. They have no one except Baily in the secondary. Brady will pick that secondary apart. He already smacked Peyton this year. The score is not indicative of what a smacking the game really was. The game was over in the first half.

Manning needed an epic 4th q comeback last I checked to win that football game. Pats had it in the bag. And also last I checked Denver doesn't have any weapons like Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne and not even close to them. Decker and Thomas are just solid. They are not hall of fame receivers.

Secondary is not as important as a pass rush to beating Brady. That is how the Giants beat him in 2 Super Bowls. Denver leads the league in sacks for a reason. Von Miller and Dumervil will be the keys to disrupting the Pats passing game.

Giants had a very good secondary though dude. They were stacked.

Denver leads the league in sacks b/c they play in a division that features the worst O lines in football. Chargers one of the worst o lines, raiders one of the worst, chiefs just average. They get to play all those teams twice. That's why they lead the league in sacks probably although I haven't looked at the stats.

    Broncos -1 -130

You cant give the Pats the 3, I expect Pats getting 1.5-2.5 which I will tease at a book without tease protection.

The line will be -2.5 to -3.5 Denver. That's how much Denver was favored at home in the 2005 AFC Championship against Pittsburgh.

Tom Brady has a life time record 2-3 Record in Denver.

In 2003 Brady managed to out duel 3rd stringer Danny Kanell in a 30-26 win.

In 2005 Brady lost 28-20 to Jake Plummer, and in the 2006 1st round Divisional playoffs Brady lost again to Jake Plummer 28-13.

In 2009 Brady lost to Kyle Orton 17-20

In 2011 Brady spanked Tim Tebow 41-23.

In summary, Brady does not do well in Denver going against QB's that can actually pass the ball.

The guy has a Superbowl ring idiot. He don't have to prove sh1t to anyone. Especially to a QB being treated like a step child in New York

Yeah Colts only had Marshal Faulk, Edgerrin James and Joseph Addai.

James had four seasons of 1500 + yards.

McGahee and Moreno are a joke for comparison. Peyton had so many great teams and choked.

Will be interesting to see where the line is set assuming the Pats win there wildcard game. To bad it wont be the AFC championship game. If the line is set 3.5 or higher we will know where the linesmakers stand.

i really can't believe some of the shit I am reading in here. Pats -4.5? are you INSANE? no wonder Vegas was built in about 2 days. lmao jaysus god.

there is no way in hell the Broncos and Manning are going to be a home dog at Mile High. not a chance in hell.

    Denver either -3.5 or 4.

all people saying Gronk, A Hern, Lloyd, Ridley, blah blah blah

this Denver defense is ferocious i mean my god they won 2 playoff games with Tim Tebow at QB.

now Manning has a serious running back threat with Moreno healthy, (as if he didn't before with McGahee) and he's got his rhythm and timing down with Thomas.

    Patriots -3.5 -4. ROFL.

Serious running threat? Serious as in 3.8 ypc and 25th in the league.

D is overrated too, given up 25 passing TD's even with all the cup cakes on the schedule.
Pats are a bad match up for them.

Moreno has been back for what? two games? he's been tearing it up.

anyway even with all that being said, still i know you don't think the pats would be a favorite in this spot.

Obviously not on the road. But if they beat Bengals 51-10 they could possibly be -1 or something like that.
