    Richmond @ Kansas -15.5

    Seems like too many points.

These aren't the Richmond spiders of a couple years ago.

Allen Field House is legit, 5pt advantage probably - but I don't think this Kansas team is that great, not good enough to route Richmond.

    Looking more into it.

Love when we are on same side,

Copied this from my thread in NCAA Forum...

    25-12-1 + ($938)

    16-4-1 Last 21

    Starting Bankroll $1000
    Current Bankroll $1938

    Richmond +15.5 $88 - $80

Kansas Is meeting a very confident and hungry Richmond squad Tuesday Night on National Tv. The Jayhawks have been cruising since the Mich St game but really haven't beat anyone. I mean they caught Belmont coming off emotional Bracket buster game w/ MTSU and they only had 1 day to prepare for KU. Caught Colorado Coming off CSU game and just light them up @ home.

The Spiders are building confidence and they can really stroke the rock. They shoot a high percentage and really run that Princeton style offense well. Now KU only has 2 practices to prepare for this offense and I like that angle here.

Kansas has shot the 3 well in the past two games, but before that they weren't, if they get cold from outside they could get upset. Also Don't forget they are traveling to play fellow top 10 squad Ohio St Saturday.

They better not get caught looking ahead, as they are on upset alert imo.

Hopefully they don't get crushed on the glass, but like I said earlier the short preparation time to defend the Princeton Offense should allow the Spiders to score enough for atleast the cover. This is line is too high.

After doing some research and analysis along with number crunching everything is pointing out to me that KU will cover the spread. Its in Allen Fieldhouse, they have been playing superb and blew out to Tournament teams. The key dagger will be the Rebounding game. KU is simply going to dominate in this area, and I can see offensive rebound after offensive rebound for KU.

They have the best Shot blocker and front runner for Defensive Player of the Year in Withey, and have Kevin Young who is also a defensive beast. They are really clicking right now.

    After number crunching
    KU off night scores 68
    KU good night 83

    My prediction
    KU-78
    Richmond-57

Remember Richmond lost to #13 Minnesota by 15 and to Ohio by 25. It could go either way but I would take the under. 135 1/2.

Not to mention Ohio has been playing really bad compared to last year. I am staying far away from this game as possible unless someone puts a gun to my head.

Guys.....you need to take into account that students are gone for the Holidays, so home court advantage isnt near as big.
We saw this at Syracuse yesterday and Notre Dame. Arenas felt like libraries!

    Man, Richmond is small.

I don't think Kansas can play big against Richmond at all. Probably see a ton of 4 around 1 played by Kansas to matchup with Richmond, meaning Withey will be manning the middle by himself. Also keeps Perry Ellis role to simply subbing in for Withey breathers.

Richmond has decent back court, and could keep McLemore at bay. Naadir Tharpe is dirty garbage, and considering the position he plays, it will be an issue for Kansas all year long.

I think the game ends around this number, as I agree with L'kid that this is seemingly a pretty sharp line.

15 is a ton of points, and can easily be back doored.

There wide. 15 1/2 seems a bit large but will lay the wood! Luck to all who wager!

One of the dumbest things I've read on this forum (when referring to an Allen Fieldhouse crowd)...and that's saying a lot.

I am also thinking LBSU +15 vs. UCLA looks nice, maybe better. Pauley is a nuclear trash heap fire. Terrible fans, even worse coaching.

LBSU played Zona to a 21 point loss, +15 is a lot vs. UCLA too it seems.

Making a play on Richmond and LBSU ATS tonight for a unit or so a piece.

My main hesitation with betting against Kansas, is the thought I have of them beating down a game Belmont team by 30 or 40 points.

Think I am going to be playing the Holiday/Look ahead game for Kansas. All the attention in that program is on OSU right now.

Also, might throw a small amount on the LBSU ML.

Richmond looks terrible. Kansas is just having their way.

Terrible game for the Spiders, just look dejected.

Still, this is college ball, and I like having a lot of points.

Kansas is better than last year. They were not doing this in the past years at all.
I guess its b/c of their senior talent. Its rare for these big programs to have mature players, since most of them leave early. Self should be the fav for tourny champs. Will be funny to see them kill baylor, and TX this year.

Pretty good prediction I would say. I took the over instead of the under too, thought it would be too close and my gut said over. KU did have a good night, so my score of 83 was pretty good. Did some thorough research and number crunching and it paid off.

    Final Score
    KU-87
    Richmond-59
