    He didn't turn it down..the school decided to give howland another year because of the recruiting class. If he don't do nothing this year..smart will be the bruins coach the next season

    stevens might still be their first choice, but i'm sure they'd be elated with either as both value them highly.

    Awesome coach, they are the making of the New Guard.

    They will be replacing Coach K's (currently best coach active - and I loathe duke, wish I could burn their barn to the ground) and the Roy Williams' of the world.

    Stevens isn't the best coach in the game as of current, but he will always be in the "Elite" discussion, especially as soon as he replaces a Legend.

    John Groce will be the best. Took over a program in shambles, losing an NBA lottery pick, no recruits coming in and now the team is undefeated, in the top 10 and in 7 months put together a top 10 recruiting class for next season.
