They have a ton of offense and their pitching is still bad. I an shocked they didn't go after any pitching.

I don't think Nolan is too big on paying big $ to 38 year old knucklers.

Rangers are stacked. Olt and Profar replace all that's gone.

He makes 5 mill next year and is willing to sign on for only 2 more years for 10-12M, not really big money. Give the Mets Olt and Martin and it's a done deal

Can't believe they signed Josh's brother John

It's going to be a war between John and Albert all year.

Now the question is where will Josh end up???

I just saw this, wow---- 125 million/5 years.

That's a lot of cash, and a lot of risk.

Josh Hamilton doesn't owe the Texas Rangers anything...It was the Cincinnati Reds that gave Hamilton a chance and the Rangers simply traded for him. Also it wasn't a one way street...Rangers got a great talent for the cheap.

    Big Angels fan here.

I'm not sure how I feel about this deal, need to absorb it. I guess it really comes down to if we can now trade some of our outfield surplus for some pitching.

This contract is a lot better than the one they gave to Pujols though, I'll tell you that.

not really impressed with either of these guys, profar will be good maybe, but he looks like a damn toothpick, and olt proved last year he is not ready for professional pitching

    Garrett Richardson

Frieri is still their closer (fkn lights out)
Downs still best set up man in the game hands down
they added Ryan Madson and Sean Burnett the nasty lefty from the Nationals

they actually cleaned up their bullpen quite well. ppl forget mike butcher is one of the best pitching coaches in the game. just look what he did with Frieri. dude was a mess with SD. they picked him up for a bag of balls than he went on an absolute tear. granted he ran out of gas at the end.

Exactly. Pujols and Hamilton are 2nd and 3rd best players on that team.
