It took ages for a ml to come out, the line is spot on. It was -3 in the nfc title game as well two years ago. Sure the bears could win but let's be real the bears are just awful right now. They need 3 special teams td's to win.

doesnt this imply some kind of fix then? i mean, the game still has to be played by the players, not the bookies...its def. very odd that the line hasnt moved and could certainly result in a public burial but line movement aside, is it not reasonable to favor the pack in this game? just seems like the bears are trending down while the pack is trending up, both teams are banged up but the bears look more banged up, the packers own the bears in this series in recent years, cutler struggles against the pack and hes "injured" himself this week, both teams need this win equally...whats the big secret the public isnt aware of?

Thats kind of silly asking if the game is fixed. Off course all the games are fixed to a certain extent. Every night heavy favorites in NBA or NFL inexplicably fail to cover a given spread. What most of us forget is we are betting against ATS unless you are on main line. Especially in NBA , heavy favorites do lost very often thus blowing away ATS and all teasers.
The other night, some thought Philly will stand up to Cinci, look at the way they lost. Not even amateurs would give away 3 scores in 3 minutes. The evidence is there for all to see. The best course of action is to stay away when it looks too good to be true. Books need to balance action, so assuming that is correct, why would they not be moving line to +10 etc unless they have some inside info as to what will really happen.
Games like this , usually end very bad. Once a while a GB may win, but thats once a while. Oklohoma was winning by over 20 at half time yesterday, spread was -13, only won by 10. The other night, spread was -12 won by 6 or so. Only scored 34 points in a half vs a bad team NO. This betting is a business, eventually money flows have a huge impact on what transpires on the field. People need to get paid.

Something is fishy. Line moving in opposite direction. Seems there is more to lose for books by making line more favorable to GB pickers.
Or maybe, it will be a blowout, Bears lose and take down any Chicago Bears teasers. Maybe reverse logic at work. Either way, no logical reason for the line move. Chicago, home of the wise guys.

How can it be this one-sided and the line has dropped to 2.5? Been eyeing this game all week, I know the bears need a win but Mathews is coming back, Cutler is banged up not like it will make a difference in his crappy play, but how is there NOT value in taking the Pack -2.5? Feeling very square on this game and wanting to pull the trigger on a GB bet. Really thought this line would move to 3.5-4.5 and I would be on the bears. I see huge value in Pack -2.5...thoughts?

There are so many reasons money winds up where it does that joe blow will never know or understand and there is much more money unaccounted for in the general consensus drivel than is represented. I was liking GB here before I learned that Clay matthews is almost a definite start.. now that he's back, and the line on B365 has dropped to GB-2.5 I have to jump on. Not going to read into the amount of money on each side.. that sounds scary but doesn't mean that GB will play softer or that CHI will play harder.. simply that Vegas will lose short term money if GB wins.. happened before.. easily going to happen again tomorrow..
