I completely agree that everyone is overreacting to this kid. He played the Bears without Cutler and if you think not having Cutler doesn't affect the defense in anyway you just don't know football then. 3 and outs all the time creates a lot of fatigue for Bears defense which makes it easier for him to do well. And now against the Saints, arguably the worst defense in the league and with his defense he's going to be in every game regardless. I don't agree with the move on putting him in the game, Alex Smith has done nothing wrong to lose his job. He has the highest completion percentage in the NFL with 70%!

He's doing ok, not impressed by this game at all against arguably the worst defense in the league. The Chiefs diced up the Saints D and won that game, the Chiefs. The 49ers are winning this game because of their defense, don't forget they have 2 defensive TDs. They're bailing him out.

What are you talking about ? He did great. He wasnt going to try and pad the stats up be a few scores. The idea is to win the game, therefore they went after the clock more. He made big time passes when they were needed. I bet you didnt even watch the game.

saints defense is hardly the worst defense in the league. they were flying all over the place today played good. take away the 14 points Brees through for picks the 49ers offense has 17 points.
that being said I am Kaeperknick fan, i just dont get these people saying he hasn't faced anybody. he's faced two of the most exotic defensives in terms of the looks that they give you, that confuse any regular starting QB in the NFL>
