    I agree complete moron and a pussy. Look at the end of the first half for example. He plays pussy ball before 3rd down and lets the clock run all the way down then calls timeout. Guess what they get the first down and now instead of first and goal at the 4 with 45 seconds left they only have ten seconds left. Run a play then have to kick a field goal. He was playing like a little pussy and it costs his team any points because the kicker shanked a 20 yarder,

    This is one example and does not even bring into play his shitty play calling.

    why did he try for the field goal at the end of the game

    seemed very fishy...

    with 13 seconds left, he could have punted, left them with about 5 seconds on the 20 yard line...

    Instead, he goes for the field goal, misses, and leaves the Buccs on about the 40 with 8 seconds left...

    Did he want to cover -1

    This is yet another decision by Mike Smith that keeps his team from taking the 'next' step - in spite of all their talent. Stupid decisions and emotional decisions will cost his team in the playoffs. He's got the team playing great, but he's a HORRIBLE situational decision maker.
    When they were lining up for the FG, all I'm thinking is - Bryant is gonna brick it. Punt the damn ball, make um go the field. All about risk management in that spot.

    and before that, he should've let the play clock go to 0 and taken the 5 yard penalty instead of calling timeout with 2 secs left on the clock. the way bryant has been butchering kicks, he's lucky it didn't get blocked and returned.

    People forget how bad Falcons were before Mike Smith got there..I can't knock him for that FG try cause I needed it for the cover plus Bryant has been money from that distance
