Newton goes against a passing D that is giving up over 300 yards per game. Newton threw for 303 against Tampa in Week. Tampa has been tough to run on, allowing only 80 yds per game. That should mean Carolina's main means of moving the ball will be through the air. The last two weeks this Tampa pass D has been burned for almost 750 yards through the air. If Carolina is allowed to open it up a little through the air, Newton should have a shot to beat this number.
