    cabrera wins AL MVP

i want to get out in front because i don't understand how math and probabilities work so its cabrera. learning stats to determine value is too hard. i like the bubble i live in that is why i watch fox news.

oh and buster posey won too.

it hasn't been announced yet. i am just getting out in front because i know dick morris was right about the election and nate silver was wrong. something strange happened because using math can't be right compared to what someone thinks.

i am glad the dick morris' are the ones voting for MVP instead of the nate silvers. if only pundits could pick elections right instead of math nerds.

this is a big win for the guys that like to cap games by "watching the game" thinking it is a good way to being a winning sports bettor.

    eat it math nerds.

guys it was a "legitimate" rape. todd adkins will be proud the sports writers had a way of shutting that whole math thing down.

personally, i voted for cabrera because when i voted i knew there would be no way that if he was up to bat in the 9th with 2 outs the deciding world series game, he would strikeout looking.

the old primitive way of choosing mvps prevails

in the future the sabermetric minded mvp pickers will have lots of laughs and cries at the old timers and the primitive logic they used.

    also apparently defense doesn't matter.
    quality of competition doesn't matter

Who's the fukkin dipshit that gave Ibanez a 10th place vote

That right there discredits the award all together...

Got to give it to Cabrera for the simple fact Trout didn't play first month...

I'd take Trout over Cabrera in a heart beat though...

this is a big win for drunk drivers everywhere. you can negligently try to kill people and still be a winner.

Not sure you understood the point. The argument was about who deserved to win, not who would win.

I posted that Cabrera would win, and I said I felt Trout deserved it.

I never thought Trout would win. I know who votes on these awards.

Also, it wasn't about SBR. There are hundreds of threads all over the Internet with long debates on the same subject.

yes. the punishment should be much more severe for drunk driving. when donte stallworth got like 3 months house arrest after he killed someone and people did not demand a chance in the law, i got mad. drunk drivers should get life for killing.

Defense and Baserunning are why Trout should have won.

Cabrera was better, though not greatly so at they plate, Yet Trout Dominated in New School, Math Nerd stats like Defense and Baserunning.

There was never a debate.....and it seemed like there were 10 Trout supporters for every 1 Cabrera supporter in the threads I posted in.
Thank goodness the right man won here!

Actually, there was a debate as to who deserved it.

There was no debate as to who would win. The people voting for the award are not very bright.

miggy was due, he could have got it two years ago when hamilton got it, plus he won the triple crown, plus he was THE offense on his team. no way they're giving it to a rookie with all these factors, fuk stats. miggy was due and the old school way does prevail.
