What's your Kansas St vs Notre Dame line? Not really understanding why ND doesn't get a liittle more respect. Is K St a fg & hook better?? I see the line as a n virtual Pickem.

ND has only allowed 1 team to score over 20 points all year. 8 teams scored 14 or less including Okla(at Okla), Mich St also at home, Stanford, BYU, Miami and Michigan.

Someone earlier said Oregon would be favored by 30 over ND. uh huh? Oregon gave up 51 points to USC and hasn't really played anyone decent except USC which torched them. I donttt know.

ND vs KState would be my vote. Game would be the ultimate in my opinion.

KState should be favored in that game. KState's D has been there for them all season. Offense will throw up 3 scores with ease.

Basically this is the reason ND gets no respect. Oregon has blown out every opponent except USC and has taken their starters out at around halftime in every game except USC. ND goes into triple OT against Pitt and wins because of a missed FG...I expect them to lose to USC but we will see. Either way, they have not shown to be nearly as dominant as K State or Oregon.

Yooo, Defensive based teams will not blow opponents out. Last time I checked the goal was to win the game.

John I agree with you some. I give credit to them for the season they are having and it would be a toss up against K. State. I do believe that Oregon is way better than those two are without a doubt. Oregon would be double digit favorites on them two. In fact Alabama probably would be favorites against them two also. Notre Dame is going to have a tough fight when the play USC this week. Oregon beat them in a shootout. Notre Dame has a good defense but they may not have enough offense to hang with USC.

John......true.........Oregon had their struggles. But, this SC passing attack is much stronger than the one Oregon brought to the BCS game a few years back. IMO....nd will struggle with Barkley, Lee, Woods, and company. nd defense is good, offense is pedestrian..........I just don't see them keeping up with Trojans.

ND just wins so fugly, against ugly teams. Aside from 40pt blowouts against Miami FL & Navy, ND has won by an average of 8 points all season.

Oregon wins pretty. Working on their tans & sipping gatorade before halftime. Ducks entire D Line was hurt, 2 injuries in-game, and they *still* managed to sail by Cal 40+ points, holding Bears to a couple TDs. Beat USC by 11, which is 3 better than ND's season-long average against lesser teams.

I'm not sure if you guys remember this or not, but 2012 Notre Dame is eerily similar to 2002 Ohio State that beat Miami for the National Title.

Great defense, average offense.

In 2002---

Ohio State was an 18 point favorite over Cincinnati and won late 23-19.

They were 28 point favs against Northwestern, and won only 26-18.

They also had a close 19-14 win over Wisconsin, and a 13-7 win over Penn State.

Oh, and they beat Purdue 10-6.

The Buckeyes struggled as 10 point favs to beat Illinois in OT.

They closed with #12 Michigan, and won another tight game 14-9.

That is almost an identical performance to 2012 ND.

I would take the Rangers, or if played today, the Tigers to beat the Giants. That's not how it goes down in sports more times than not, yet in college football people always want to make it so. Force the team they "know" is better into that championships.

What we should be most against is downright injustices, i.e cupcake schedules, not teams that get "lucky."

Look at a bunch of the Ohio State and Texas teams that made it to BCS championship games. Lucky wins and way easier schedules than ND

Kiffin scares me about my USC bet this weekend. Especially against Mora.

The Duck Report (Oregon site) gave a great discussion post about how Oregon used an unbalanced line against USC, even putting someone in the slot on that side, and USC's defense didn't realize or understand that the slot was not an eligible receiver, and Monte Kiffin never adjusted out of it, and Oregon gashed them.

Even with that, I still love USC this weekend.
