Is your Book charging 14cts. for any bought 1/2 point on college basketball?

I haven't played the baskets for awhile, so this was shocking when I discovered one of our favorites was charging 14 cts for THE FIRST 1/2 point, and 28 cents. for any second 1/2 point on the same game!

What are you fellows seeing in this circumstance?

On looking closer, it's quite unpredictable? Maybe 13ct. chrg. or?? I am confused, but no wonder--have you ever seen so many changes in college basketball lines? Back and forth like a yo-yo.

Books want you to buy points because it is +EV for them.

I don't care what anyone says, there is never a 'good situation' to buy or sell points.

If you know the outcome of a game before it starts and know with 100% assurance Team X will win by X points then sell your house and go to Vegas to buy that 1/2 point.

Yup, what if you have to hedge a parlay, might buy the .5 point to make sure you do not get middled.
That being said, people do buy too many points in general.
