how much money is needed to run a sportsbook?

lets say i could get an online sports book backed (by backed i basically mean to use the name but to be outsourced largely) by a major casino in atlantic city. How much would be needed to take bets in new jersey? how much would be needed for the brick and mortar set up? Just curious. 10 million? 100 million? I have 0 clue.

    thank you

Considering the amount of clueless folk out there who toss their money at this day in and out without any thought process whatsoever.

About $0.76 for bank and enough to build one of these.

You are not gonna be able to serve beer at this joint though. Never stays cold.

Grab a couple jars of 20. You will do well.

Make sure its near a Mikky D's or a Dunkin. Gotta have pissers somewhere. Also clever if it is near a pawn. Fukkers can watch the games in the window.

Online sportsbook using a Brick and Mortar name?

Calvin Ayre (Bodog founder) recently suggested in an article that it would take around $20 million to do a proper start up for an online book. He also suggested that a potential scambook had a budget of around $1 million I believe.

A notepad and a few pencils should do the job for the first six months. Just write shitloads of I.O.U's and/or demand 6 months notice on all cash outs.

Depends on how many clients/bettors you have.
