Walker career numbers are better than gibson. Gibson had a real good start home vs Oakland where he went 7 scoreless but Oakland is at the bottom of the league in ops. When at home vs rockies who are a good hitting team he gave up 2 Homer's. But that's all rockies got and philly won.

Walker last year at home vs phils went 4.1 and gave up 1 and went 5 giving up 2

Phillies got no hit last night mets are home and have one of the best records in the league and playing a division rival. It was only mets 2nd no hitter in history. Seems like a good spot to ride a team that's hot. No hitting the phils 1st place 1st or 2nd best record in mlb. And we don't have to lay much chalk at all.

i never bet on a pitcher in his first start back, off a shoulder issue. walker will be on a pitch limit. That is if walker can throw without having to leave before that count. the mets pen will be the key to this one.

In other words you're betting the phillies hit walker all over. If not its OK cuz he's on a short pitch count so phillies get to the pen and feast.

Yeah I bet Phillies. gibson is a quality start machine, so he should keep them in the game. walker is short for sure, buck's first pick? who knows, but i believe may sees the mound. and that is where the phillies get some crooked #'s
