Going to be hard to handicap these games as they are just starting out, I prob go with heat -6 for sure before it gets worse

This Celtics team is better and deeper than the '08 championship team (Once Avery Bradley comes back)

With that being said, I like to wait a couple weeks before I start betting NBA.

Seaweed, how many hours have you devoted over the summer to the dissecting of the NBA? The roster changes, the coaching moves, the scheduling quirks, the depth of the benches, the astrological signs, the player camaraderie as it pertains to race and culture. These are things I know you spend hours upon hours breaking down.

The Giant, i have received this similar question from hundreds of my twitter followers that have bombarded my inbox the past few weeks. As you know, the NBA is my strongest suit, just ahead of the infamous yearly Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest. I'm sure you recall our last seasons NBA 9 game winning streak to start the season here at SBR. This year will be no different. When the Miami Heat hoisted the NBA championship trophy back in June, many took the summer off and went on their vacations and played Golf. Not me. I immediately began breaking down information for the next season. This year I made some slight tweeks to my NBA methodology for the 2012-2013 season that now incorporates the addition of the new "flopping rule" and the sponsor additions on NBA Jerseys for instance. Of course, these are only small additions to a very large and in depth list.
