Gotta take the Cardinals tonight just for value alone.

I like Cain quite a bit but the Cards are not the type of team to be fazed with the two straight losses. Just for value alone they are the right side. I wish I got +132 but +122 still has a little bit of value to make it a 1 unit play. Until the cards lose one of these eliminination games its hard to go against them.

Everyone I've heard loves the Giants, and the Cardinals are like the football Giants, never bet against them when you think they are down and out. I'm with you, I think its a toss up, and mathematically a toss up at +120 or more will make $$ in the long run.

books set a high number due to ESPN sucking Cain's ass all night. Guy has looked like dogshit in the play offs only game he looked halfway decent was the last game he pitched, Loshe been lights out, struggled last time but had enough runs to get him through.

I think Giants win but I sure as hell wasnt laying -145 on it. 130 is more reasonable but would like to see 125, which it might get to. If it even goes, looks like a hurricane heading into the bay area....

Theres no value on Cards at + money when they stopped hitting and making regular errors in the field now.

Hate Giants but they will win!

Momentum is the next game's starting pitcher mike. You know that.

I think the Giants win personally, but what they've done at the plate or in the field in the last two games is borderline irrelevant.

Correct bud. However I don't think Lohse is better on the road than Cain is at home. Playoffs are different than regular season games. I really think Cards are just emotionally spent. Plus they have no healthy Halliday tonight.

I agree with all of that. I'm just saying it looked like SF was dead in the water down 3-1 with Zito throwing and look what happened. Each games is an independent event. Just because they haven't hit and played poor defense in the last two games, doesn't mean they necessarily will tonight.

I really can't see it going 7. That DET lineup is much better than STL.

Det lineup won't face pitching like yanks. Bad call on this game by me but only a unit.

I was blinded by my hate for The Giants and hope. I did know two things. Cain is a pretty good gamer and I have never or will never trust Lohse in a big game.

Cain is a good pitcher and a gamer, but man he looks tired. He gutted out this start. I hope they don't rush him into the WS, He's gonna need 5 days off and maybe a short leash in the fall classic.

What? Are you saying the Yankees' staff is better than SF's?

Detroit's hitters won't get to bat in the NYY bandbox either. Big difference for road games.
