    IF Verlander Wins Cy Young this year is he a shoe in for the HOF?

    what if he gets 2nd in Cy Young this year, Detroit wins the WS,and then gets another no-hitter in 2013 then retires from a freak injury?

    how much more work does he need in your mind to convince you to vote for him if you had a vote?

    you have to be good for 10 years to get into hall of fame. dwight gooden was amazing for 5 years and is not in.

    Koufax was only really good for 6 years. that was kind of the premise of my idea for the thread.

    has any guy that threw 3 no hitters not gotten into the hall?
