The only rich people I hear talking about raising the taxes I pay are liberal "humanitarians."

What matters is the amount of $$ coming out of my pocket, not what % of the overall revenue stream that makes. You must be one of those rubes who thinks paying a 38% income tax is cool as long as a greater share of the money collected by the IRS from federal returns comes from the richest 1%.

    Now that's some dumb shit.

You're example is the opposite of that. If all rich people were like your friend....then I would have no qualms about keeping taxes for the ultra rich low as they are.
    Again,

you clearly don't know enough rich people.

If you did, you wouldn't think they are all shameless greedy assholes. Some are, yes. But the only way to effectively deal with those assholes is to run them out of business, and you can't do that by increasing taxes, as that compels consolidation and monopolistic tendencies. Seriously, what has jacking up tax rates ever done to hurt the bad guys or help the little guys? Has it reduced poverty? Created a flowing stream of new companies? NOPE. It's just feel good show-me bullshit.

The greediest people take advantage of the system, the nice ones (like my friend for example) don't. This means the guys who want to play by the rules and abide by the spirit of fair competition only get fukked more by higher taxes and regulation. They don't want to take the extra time/money/effort to hire a hoard of lawyers/accountants to deviously hide their money. And it wouldn't matter as much and put them at such a disadvantage if tax rates/regulations didn't motivate the big boys to create million dollar accounting divisions within their companies to devise complicated ways to avoid adhering to the system.

If higher taxes were such a good idea for promoting competition and small business growth, then small business owners would support them. They don't. IN overwhelming numbers. If you look at the data you'll find that the majority of small business owners favor tax cuts across the board, and of those who don't, a bulk of their annual receipts come from gov't contracts. Long story short, small private businesses who survive by making quality products and not low-balling for gov't bids don't want higher taxes because higher taxes impede on their ability to grow and wrangle away the big boys' market share.

best moment of the debate. when obama said "please proceed governor totally pwned obama, also loved it when obama was like can you say that louder candy. and everyone is like oooooooooooooo clpaclapclapclapc that dude just got burned. helllll yeahz

said september 12. this was an act of terror. clearly romney knows this. he has to, if he doesn't. he has the worst team around him ever. but he knows he can lie about it and maybe score points with some swing voters,(who lets face it, are not that smart to begin with unless they would of have their mind made up by now)

also romney looked really weird, and durish, and 18th centurish and lied again. when he said he seeked out women, and got binders full of women from women groups.
no, there was one group that went to him.

just a small lie, doesn't really matter. what matters his romney making him self look like a dur again. but just like that paul ryan lie about running in under 3 hrs. they can't tell the truth at all. they will just simply do and say anything to get elected.

ohio again is the only state that matters. and obama is up in all the major poll groups, and up 6 in the nbc wall street journal poll. a bunch of polls will come out in the next couple of days, and obviously it will give obama a few pt short term bounce. with less then 3 weeks. its looking very slim chance of a romney win in ohio. which means to win the election he will need to regain pa, and or iowa/wisky.

but yeah. never going to happen.

He never said the Libya attack was a terrorist he was speaking in general that we don't tolerate terrorist attacks, and if he did say it was why did he have Susan rice go on all talk shows saying it was a spontaneous demonstration over YouTube video?

All i know is our economy will work a lot better, and has worked at it's peak when you adapt the Ying -Yang symbol's philosophy. Pure capitalism will never work, pure socialism will never work.....but a majority of one mixed with a little bit of the other always does the trick.

Not if Romney is the one holding congressional veto power come January. The bloated housing inventory is slowly getting bought up and somewhat stabilizing the real estate market. If coming in January the business owners know they won't have to worry about some new crazy regulatory shit coming down the pipeline you'll see more domestic investment. Probably cautious at first, but within a year I'd expect the economy to have hit a steady rebound.

    from politifact:

    Mitt Romney
The number actually hasn't changed much

"Regulations have quadrupled. The rate of regulations quadrupled under this president."

    1) How Romney characterizes the issue is a totally separate fukking matter and completely immaterial to business owners looking for addition by subtraction.

    2) Your link doesn't seem to link anything so it's hard to say what "regulations" this is actually referencing. Are we talking the specific number of regulatory changes? If so, that hardly fukking matters. GWB could have passed 1,000 different regulations regarding the use of pesticides and the effect wouldn't be felt far beyond the reaches of a few of the giant chemical companies. Obamacare on the other hand....

    .........................or a carbon tax....

It's not the quantity, it's the impact. Cause, effect.
