Somebody Care to tell me How WVU is a favorite over KSU?

This line makes absolute zero sense to me, and I've been pretty on point with the market so far this season...

I don't even know what else to say...

Is something going on in Manhattan that I don't know about?

They are favored because they are at home. That simple. If game was in Kansas, game would probably be at PK. I don't see why KState should be favored in this game, at all. I wouldn't be surprised if WV won by double digits.

KSU should be -7 @ home and I'd gladly play them in that situation...

WVU win by DD! HAHA, Most overrated team in the country...

They will begin to fall apart...

KSU is a national title contender, WVU is all hype...

People see WVU put up points and think they are a really good team, it makes no sense...

You can't continue to win the way they play against good teams.

Hell JJ could gameplan against them...

They can't run, they can't tackle, and they blow several defensive assignments on each play...

People think they are a really good team, unreal...

Yes this line seems almost backwards, KST should be in the -1.5 to -2.5 range on the road, -7.5 to -9 range at home. I mean Texas was -7.5 at home vs. WVA, and KST is a lot better then Texas. I like Kansas State Money line here.

Don't like seeing Brock on WVU but line seems fair. Forget about their defense but do you expect Geno Smith to struggle again? Especially playing at home they will come out fired up after last week. Tough game to call most likely pass.

I can't back a team that ranks 122nd out of 124 FBS teams in pass defense against Kansas State, especially as a favorite.

K-State is the worst passing team in the Big 12...traveling all the way to Morgantown to play a team that just got waxed by Texas Tech. Also State has Texas Tech and Oklahoma State right after West Virginia. Kansas State may need 7 or more once Geno Smith gets cranking

Maybe not struggle but he won't be as good as he looked the first five weeks. You saw what happened when WVA faced the best defense they faced all year last week, and now they are facing an even better defense.

You totally ignored the fact that Kansas State is the much better team. Wildcats might score on every possession.

Being the much better team is meaningless. Sports is a business and parity runs rampant. Go ask Joey who watches ESPN and saw WVU get killed probably tell you well K. State won last week and WVU has no defense K. State is a no brainer. Fact is they're both overrated teams and this is a toss up. Better games out there to bet on.

No..they can't throw the ball...West Virginia loads up the box and Klein will have to throw....advantage West Virginia

Kansas State is hardly overrated and there is something to be said about the better team getting points from a team that plays zero defense.

Yes they can. The only reason Kansas State doesn't have gaudy passing numbers is because they run the ball a very high percentage of the time. But when Klein does throw, he is completing 67% of his passes and averaging 9 yards per attempt. If WVA put extra guys in the box, all it would take is some early completions to get them away from that. I don;t see how Mounties can stop them.

It;s not that easy. Kansas State defense can make stops and their offense can run a lot of clock.

Maybe if the game was in Manhattan, but I think West Virginia will be able to light them up at home. And conversely they can't stop anyone.

The Smith hype has been crazy. Look at the teams they have beat early. Those teams are weak defensively, with the top two being TT (loss), and Texas (and we saw what happened to them on Saturday).
Public perception is the exact opposite for these teams. People think WV is almost unbeatable and think KSU is overrated. I'm guessing the old man is going to put on a good coaching clinic on Saturday night.

What I'm hearing is smith will not have two bad games in a row, KSU can't keep up, WV is at home, ect, ect, ect.
Look, your preaching to the choir, I've thought this WV team has been a fluke all year. I was betting that Texas would get them 2 weeks ago and I was wrong. I see them like a TT team a few years ago with Leach that could put points up, but couldn't stop anyone. They always had 3 to 4 losses a year in league, but just ran up the score against weaker teams.

KSU is not a national title contender. Youre overrating them here my man. Neither was WVU when they were undefeated.

Everyone this weekend was all over WV (on the road) against Tech. Now people are overreacting to the beating they took and everyone is on KSU (on the road). I noticed many of the throws Geno made and to me it was clear that the wind affected his accuracy. Even his coach said the wind affected him (Smith of course denies this). Geno will not have a repeat of this weekend at home.

This is a good spot to take the Mountaineers.
